The Chainsmokers can't get a hit any more no matter what* they did, can they?

 

Its only been out 6 days

'Side Effects' seems to be on the same trajectory as all their other latest singles so far but hopefully it gets good radio and Hot Hits support and gets them at least another 'Sick Boy' esque low top 40 hit (already A-listed on Radio 2 so they must be planning to give it a push).

was insta-added to R2s A-list last week s they're pushing it for sure

I'm surprised they haven't pushed it on Spotifys main playlists yet like they did with the previous singles

This is the fastest "from streaming favourite to Radio 2 staple" route I can think of

I really like "Side Effects" and it's starting off well in the US. I think it'll be a decent sized hit for them here in the UK, just needs some time to grow. Hopefully it'll be added to big spotify playlists and will get decent radio play here. A big step up from their recent material.

While I'm not aware of any 'big' releases, there's still some great music out (well, both of these can out this evening).
