You do realize that whatever the media publishes or doesn't publish, people will *still* mostly vote for the party that they feel more comfortable with.

Claiming that the media doesn't affect people's votes is a macro version of the 'I don't buy anything when I see ads, therefore I am not affected by advertising' claim. Which is rubbish. It provides a framework.
And what does PROPAGANDA do? X If it didn't work they wouldn't use it.

So what you are saying is that Corbyn is even losing the propaganda war, which socialists usually excel at. :P

It would be nice though if the media was more impartial and talked about facts rather than mislead people. I do think we'd see a more even spread of votes amongst the parties if that were so.

I do wonder how Boris' rejection of a pact with Nigel will affect his votes. It could cause Nigel to campaign against him and take more of his vote share.

1. Gaslighting facebook, by allowing Tories etc to post a load of old shite. People then distrust labour social media presence nd fb, get confused and turn to

2. Hard right tory backing corporate media shrills BBtory and the papers

Sealion, we posted maaany maany times already about how the tories now have a one party media state. Stop gaslighting us.

Oh but you see BBC comedy shows sometimes take the piss out of rightwing politicians and members of the public so on balance its unbiased <_< <_<

Never mind that actively lying on factual shows that are presented as truthful and common sense, and observational comedy, are two totally different mediums that are perceived completely differently by members of the public, or anything...

No, you are the *only* one here who keeps obsessing about a 'one party Tory state'!

Because it's true and Peter Osborne, a right wing tory, called out the BBTory et al for enabling government propaganda x It's like North Korean style propaganda.

AND SURVATION HAS SPOKEN!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

ALREADY, AT THE START OF THE CAMPAIGN OMFG. FORGET ABOUT THE ONE PARTY STATE POLLING. THIS IS THE REAL POLLING COMPANY :cheer:

That poll is 4 months old. The most recent Survation opinion poll, from 30th October, gives the Conservatives a 8 point lead.

The confirmation bias is strong in this one.

Telegraph website refers to an ORB poll tomorrow showing:- ORB hasn't done any previous polls.

CON 36

LAB 28

LDM 14

BRX 12

Opinium (Con +16), Deltapoll (Con +13) and YouGov (Con +15) all showing Conservative leads in excess of 10pts.

Are they all wrong?

Perhaps we should ask Michael why he's so sure that people are telling pollsters one thing, but secretly they believe another...
