October 25, 20186 yr 'baby forgive me' is so gentle and enchanting but groovy and cool at the same time that 2nd half of 'send to robin immediately'!!! and I only have two more words to say... EVER AGAIN. *.* This was a very hasty listen so I won't say anything more. Cannot wait to discover new layers to this records in the upcoming weeks after countless listens. October 26, 20186 yr Prepared to be eaten alive but I'm not crazy over this album. :cry: Its album closer 'Ever Again' is a beaut though, so I'll take that and the singles from it.

October 26, 20186 yr This may be my favourite album of hers to date. I’m about 5 listens in and it’s just so coherent as a product and the production is stunning. Honey is definitely one of her very best individual tracks also.
October 26, 20186 yr Author I absolutely adore this, so worth the wait. It’s a progression but also very Robyn and I can’t imagine anyone else realising it. So cohesive (that Baby Forgive Me > Send to Robin Immediately transition 👌🏼) and you can tell how much it all means to her. Completely agree about Honey being one of her absolute best. I think I’d already throw Human Being into the mix too.
October 26, 20186 yr What a fantastic and intoxicating album. The production is impeccable. I'm surprised how well she captured mourning in a dance record. Has anyone else noticed how lonely the songs feel? It's hypnotising. The way Human Being builds on the minimal production. Whew. I wouldn't change a thing about the tracklist. The way it opens with Missing U, a relatively familiar sound to reintroduce herself with, which lyrics set the stage for the rest of the album. The flow from Baby Forgive Me into Send to Robin Immediately. How the album is anchored around Honey. The way it ends on such a gleeful and defiant moment with Ever Again. Perfect. October 26, 20186 yr I enjoyed this on first listen - enough to give it a 2nd listen straight away which is what I'm doing right now! Enjoying "Human Being" very much on 2nd listen. Love the transition of "Baby Forgive Me" into "Send To Robin Immediately", and the instrumentation throughout the album is so good. I had a feeling I'd appreciate "Missing U" and "Honey" much more in context of the album having felt underwhelmed with them as standalone singles, and I very much do. "Honey" I'd imagine will start sounding a lot better on spot plays too. :wub:

October 26, 20186 yr Incredible album! A lot of depth and richness here both musically and lyrically. 8 years of waiting and she certainly hasn't disappointed. :wub: That Beach one is a bit... errrr. But I suppose it's interesting.
October 30, 20186 yr I was quite underwhelmed on my first listen :( I'll give it more time because the production was SUBLIME and she has so much to say but not loving as much as what's come before currently.
