Jessie is back and she’s gone a little bit dance with a new single to tide us over between albums. It premiered as Hottest Record earlier tonight on Radio 1 and is co-produced by Bicep! *.*

FINALLY dance jessie is back

years overdue

her voice is SO SO suited to this sort of sound. no more MoR ed sheeran-lite shite thx

JESSIE BITCH!!!!

omg that is soooo much more like it <3 devotion is one of my favourite albums EVER (as a lot of buzzjackers will know me for) so this is so up my alley.

Wow! This is incredible! That bassline is SO sinister. This is a perfect example of making retro sound fresh again. Very early 90s.

Considering I'm hard to please on first listen these days, I'm very impressed!

love this! I'd love to see a whole record leaning towards dance music.
Wow, this is amazing  its a bop :music: I also agree very much Disclosure material, on first listen it just ticked all the boxes.
Bicep on production duties, Jessie on vocal duties - what more could you want? Definitely preferring this return to her core dance and slick vocal combination compared to the syrupy ballads and MoR Ed Sheeran-lite as Jake puts it. More “Imagine It Was Us” and less “Champagne Kisses” on the new record please.

How has this passed the mainstream by? What a great song, it really sounded like a 'breakthrough' super-hit.

'Champagne Kisses' is a truly sublime piece! Surely she has better examples which fit the disparaging description you gave?

But I do agree that a whole album of this and 'Imagine It Was Us'-lite would be something dreams are made of.
