All of Richard Ashcroft's solo Albums have made the Top 3 and latest one has been heavily advertised on TV, hope and think it can stay Top 3.

October 22, 20187 yr Album chart is very interesting! Given the poor start in the USA, I'm not so sure about Bohemian Rhapsody making it easily. A lot of people may just go for Queen's Greatest Hits if they haven't got it. Watch that rise in the next few weeks after the film opens.

October 22, 20187 yr Because Bradley is hardly a hit maker as a recording artist. Gaga is the only reason Shallow is charting this high tbh. But he did amazing job with the film and as a singer. Lots of shirtless scenes too! I’m a big Gaga fan myself but to say it is ONLY doing well because of of her is downright absurd considering her last few singles have been minor hits at best I think it’s got just as much to do with the film doing well as it has Gaga. You don’t need a massive pop star for a film song to do well e.g. Keala Seattle but it can help and hopefully it does go number 1 if it does it would be fantastic (even if I also don’t want it to outpeak This is me)

To be fair, the whole campaign has been focused on the US. I haven't noticed any UK promo from her. For her to do what she has through word of mouth is impressive. I am sure with a decent UK promo push, the singles and album could do pretty well.
October 22, 20187 yr It's literally a duet, why is Gaga getting all the credit on here and elsewhere. Frankly Cooper was also the driving force behind the movie, he was attached to the project far earlier than Gaga. In fairness, "Shallow" and almost the entire soundtrack is her creation not his.
October 22, 20187 yr Wow fingers crossed for Gaga to get #1 with Shallow, would be amazing for her to be back at #1 on the singles chart after so long. She's such a talent she truly deserves it, I was gutted when Million reasons wasn't a huge smash in the UK for her. As for the album that would be fantastic too, but at least its already hit #1 and her sales look steady which means it's looking like it will be a hit album for her that's the main thing.
