I always thought Olly would win overall against Muse or win the war as its put.

Muse will have overall sales of 150,000 maximum and Olly Murs 300,000 plus is my prediction.

Why does Kylie being higher than Mariah matter though?

Because Kylie’s album has been out for 7 months?

2 weeks in a row we see very large drops from Number 1 in the album chart.

I had thought The Prodigy would fall alot further than they are currently showing for this week.

Imagine Dragons are falling hard too, all their previous albums have had great chart runs so this falling so hard is a surprise.

Still 5 chart weeks dont rule anything out yet heck drake may release a christmas single

can't see that happening .... probably a Hanukkah single....

Perhaps he'll release a Festivus single, doing the Elaine dance like he did in his Hotline Bling video... :P

Good to see healthy sales in the albums, top 5 will be over 20k!!

Buble 75k

LM 65k

Mumford & Sons 57k

Gutted that Mariah is only #31 - really thought this album might chart decently
Considering her airplay that's the best she could have expected I think.

I doubt many people even know she has an album out. Don’t think there has been any promo around this. Also suffers from the fact it will automatically get overshadowed by AIWFCIY at this time of year.

Bit confused by the multiple Kate Bush entries on the album chart. Looks they are separating the cd and vinyl sales for the same box set

Thought her annual Xmas hit would have helped her new album tbh
I reckon Ari could hold on to #1 single long enough to get this years Xmas #1

She will get another couple of weeks tops, her streams are consistently coming down and she's down #8 on iTunes now.

Omg will Boyzone overtake LM at this rate?! If Fleetwood Max gets a big weekend boost they might get in the top3 too!

So will Mariah get Xmas no.1 next year or not?

Are you just trying to wind people up or are you a bit special?

Little Mix have double the album sales of Boyzone as if they are going to catch up

We get you don't like LM give it a rest and shut up about it, it's boring and you're the only person coming off looking like an idiot.

What sales did Forever open on in 2000 - 60k wasn't it?

Little Mix will probably outsell them in the end this week, good for them they deserve all their success they work damn hard for it.

I understand this is a chart thread and forum but I think some people get too concerned about the difference between a number one and two nowadays. Many artists could get a number one but choose to release another week to maximise the push for Christmas based on their selling trends or promo available. Olly Murs/Little Mix/Michael Buble could have got guaranteed number ones if released 6 weeks ago but would probably be missing out on 100k sales each just for the sake of one number.

Stilk canet believe they thought they could compete with Westshite first week sales :drama:

I still think Little Mix will be number one this week, their streaming will overtake Buble who will be slightly more front loaded.

Yeah you’re right, they were only the big group on the planet at the time coming off yet another number 1 😂😂😂

They aren't going to double their sales from the Monday midweek surely. 60k seems about right.

Little Mix overall will be the biggest selling album from these 3 fighting for Number 1.

This time next year, Little Mix will be miles ahead on sales.

With just a 6k difference in the Top 3 it could go either way.
