Heartbroken today but it's always the tiniest of silver linings when these things happen to see the classics racing back up the iTunes chart. 'Breathe' and 'Firestarter' are my two favourite songs of all time so glad to see them making such an impact already, 'Firestarter' to enter the top 10 at this rate?

'Breathe' is definitely my favourite, it's just incredible. They have so many phenomenal tracks throughout their discography though!

Yay for 'Firestarter' making the top 10 :heart: I hope 'Breathe' can still get there too but unsure how much longer these songs are gonna continue climbing. It's great to see 'Warrior's Dance' up there with the older songs as well, think that's my favourite of their post-90s singles (also fab to see 'Omen' up there too).

Sad news about Keith Flint. I really like Breathe and it's probably my favourite song by The Prodigy, it's one that I remember hearing a lot as a kid. No Good (Start The Dance) and Firestarter, Everybody In The Place are some other decent tracks by them.

 

 

They had a knack of releasing funny sounding songs as well. In particular I can never listen to Out Of Space or watch the music video for it without bursting into laughter :lol:, Take Me To The Hospital & Spitfire also make me chuckle.

 

 

He's undoubtedly left a legacy behind and will never be forgotten!

Any chance of any Prodigy songs charting come Friday?

It depends on how well they do on streaming, but I'd say it's unlikely as iTunes sales are so low and all their classics are on ACR.

Are the likes of 'One Love', 'Everybody in the Place' or 'Poison' anywhere to be seen at all?

RIP Keith - seen them play a live outdoor concert in my hometown in 2009 and it was epic. One of my fav all time bands - culturally defining of the 90s in the same way Blur and Oasis are imo too, fusing dance rock and punk - just genius!!

 

Pity 'We Live Forever' the 4th track from their current album wasn't taking off, nearly brought a tear to the eyes when I listened to the new album on the way home from work today!

So many TUNES there. :wub: very pleased to see 'Breathe' joining 'Firestarter' in the top 10 now. It's a shame that these circumstances are so awful, but it is nice to see such a stellar back catalogue being highlighted in memory of an absolute legend.

Listening through 'No Tourists' again today, 'We Live Forever' really sticks out more in light of this news (it was already one of my favourites on the album but still), the lyrics are a little bit unnerving in retrospect :(
