I went for If You Were With Me Now because it never gets added to her greater hits but it’s a tie with Finer Feelings

So many missed bops there :( Will Be voting for ‘Giving You Up’ although there are none that I dislike tbh.

Also does anyone know why Kylie seems to hate IYWWMN so much? She never performs it, mentions it and now doesn’t want it as part of her GH  It was a bit of a flop outside of the UK and Ireland but I love it for what it is. It’s the highest charting hit that she has missed off.

I'd love to know why she doesnt seem to like it either but it's a song that she doesnt associate herself with anymore or hasnt done so for years, I'd love to see her perform it even with someone else. Even on the anti tour it didnt get a look in.
Did it Again

This and all the other missed Deconstruction singles. She needs to make it up to us by releasing all the demos and lost tracks from the IP recording sessions.

Would be great to get but cant see it happening. As a massive Breathe fan I'm glad it made the cut.Celebration should of been dropped in favour of most of the songs on this poll.

Chocolate, beautiful song that is often overlooked.

I agree that any of these songs would be a better selection than Celebration.

Celebration is a wonderful tour song but not studio.

The songs are also better than NYC but a new song was needed to make the release a little more appealing to the fans who already own everything listed on the album.

'Into The Blue' because it's glorious and it would fit well with the rest of the compilation.

I can understand why some the Deconstruction singles were omitted, much as I love most of them. They might confuse the new listeners she'll pick up after Glastonbury.

I also feel that ITB represents the KMO era in the most positive light. And an un-broken career like Kylie's deserves to be showcased as such.

Into The Blue would have made a good representation of what was a disappointing time and would fit into the collection.

That said, i would think it was too much paperwork to get sorted for the inclusion of one song that Kylie herself seems to have moved on from.

Yes. I reckon that must be the reason. Roc Nation were hardly Kylie's greatest champions, even while she was with them.

'Into the Blue' is my favourite and I'd consider it the biggest omission from an impartial perspective. It's her best peaking single since the 2012 Best Of and her only Top 20 hit since the last definitive collection, Ultimate Kylie, not to have been included. I also don't think it's fair to leave the Kiss Me Once era totally unrepresented when this is meant to be a look back on her full career. I also get the impression from recent interviews that Kylie has this song in mind when she has addressed the issue of some songs being missing.

I think Let's Get to It and Impossible Princess could have had more than one single represent the era too: 'Finer Feelings' and 'Did It Again' both feel like worthy inclusions, with one being a fan favourite and the other having such a strong video (probably the most memorable part of the Impossible Princess era for many).

I can deal with the others being left off even though I'd still welcome most of them being part of the album. 'Giving You Up' and 'Chocolate' were both Top 10 hits and have their fair share of fans, but I feel like their inclusion would mean 'Your Disco Needs You' and 'The One' would be squeezed out and I think they're much bigger songs in Kylie's discography, regardless of chart performance. 'If You Were With Me Now' may have been a Top 5 but it's probably the most forgotten hit of Kylie's career. That #4 peak means nothing.

My ranking, although a great deal of those songs rate very closely and could change on any given day:

Into the Blue

Giving You Up

Better Than Today

Word is Out

Did It Again

Some Kind of Bliss

Chocolate

Finer Feelings

Where is the Feeling?

If You Were With Me Now

Without question, Into The Blue. A gorgeous track. I hope it was omitted for ‘legal reasons’ and not because they think songs such as Please Stay are more appealing.

If You Were With Me Now

I largely disagree about If You Were With Me Now. Its value is just ignored.

50% of the singles from this album failed to make the Top 10 as did the album itself and this managed Top 5 which was important at that time, if not now.

If were with me now did well so I dont why kylie ignores it but there is likely some bad association with the song that we dont know about. The song gets no airing at all from kylie or even in any of the montages that she does or is associated with so obviously something must have went on.
