June 3, 20196 yr No and no. His administration has sought to roll back the rights of people like me. We don't choose our sexuality, and by having less rights than others the implication is that we are not equal. So excuse me if the standard eye roll emojis and "He is POTUS" lines don't cut it for me. I don't care who he is. I assume you are an American then? If not, then he is in no position to affect your rights.
June 3, 20196 yr And why does that matter? Do we have to be personally affected, can we not have compassion for others who but for the accident of birth could be us? And, as an aside, why are you going out of your way to implicitly defend such an "odious character"?
June 3, 20196 yr I assume you are an American then? If not, then he is in no position to affect your rights. Imagine having empathy for the people who ARE affected by his policies, hatred, and bigotry. He holds one of the most important and influential positions in the west — you don't need to be American to have an opinion or be critical. Edited June 3, 20196 yr by blacksquare
June 3, 20196 yr How nasty. What has he ever done wrong to you? Yeah I ain't communicating with a Trump supporter, bye
June 3, 20196 yr How nasty. What has he ever done wrong to you? Beyond ridiculous. You have written far nastier in this very forum. The hypocrisy is just laughable. Edited June 3, 20196 yr by blacksquare
June 3, 20196 yr He's been busy Tweeting as he entered UK airspace, calling Sadi Khan a "stone-cold loser" Think he just likes to stir up a bit of controversy. A bit like what you try to do Chris eh? B-) B-)
June 3, 20196 yr There is absolutely no need whatsoever for us to treat this creep with any respect just because he’s President of the United States. It doesn’t make him any better than the rest of us and given the awful views he carries, he’s actually scum and should be treated worse than others. I want him to piss off.
June 3, 20196 yr Unless your protest is to overturn a political stance (Clause 28, equal pay, Brexit etc), I think they are otherwise futile. I don’t believe a protest will ultimately change anything. That said, Trump is a massive piece of shit. I’d deconstruct why, but I’ll let ol faithful Jonathan Pie do that... Brexit gets a shout out. I’m of the belief that if you support Brexit by any means necessary, there is no hope for you. Z7yRHQtMQnk Edited June 3, 20196 yr by ScottyEm

And, as an aside, why are you going out of your way to implicitly defend such an "odious character"? My use of 'odious' was specifically meant to imply the exact opposite of defence - I'm afraid the misinterpretation is yours.
June 4, 20196 yr Great, then you can join us in celebrating how awful he is and how our criticism and lack of respect towards him is completely valid.
June 4, 20196 yr Author At least if Trump was in charge of our Brexit negotiations we'd have left with no deal by now. He'd have got Farage in to lead the negotiations he said too and get really tough with the EU. He wouldn't pay them another penny unless they agreed to all our demands. For a guy who's never been a diplomat he has the right idea. May and her others have just messed about with EU bosses and been too soft with them. We need a really tough no-nonsense leader like Trump. Edited June 4, 20196 yr by Common Sense
June 4, 20196 yr Author Harry's another waste of space like Corbyn, Cable and Bercow. He apparently didn't turn up to the State Banquet after Trump's remarks about his wife. He was expected according to The Mirror and just went home to Meghan and his son instead. Edited June 4, 20196 yr by Common Sense

We need a really tough no-nonsense leader like Trump. Now perhaps you would care to explain how we would get the EU even to start talking about a trade deal if we still owed them a hefty sum of money. What do you think walking away from our obligations would do to our credit rating? How would you persuade other countries that we can be trusted to stick to any deals we might agree? Are you saying that, after three years, you still think that we hold all the cards and that the EU need us more than we need them? If so, perhaps you could provide some evidence to support that.

Then we'd leave with NO DEAL as we should have done in March.
June 4, 20196 yr Then we'd leave with NO DEAL as we should have done in March. You replied to his post but didn't answer any of his questions. That is not a response to what he was saying. It was just a statement.

He was expected according to The Mirror and just went home to Meghan and his son instead. Yes well, after what that sack of useless orange flesh said about his late mother I can hardly blame him quite frankly. Good on him, I say!

He was expected according to The Mirror and just went home to Meghan and his son instead. Kind of basic concept of diplomacy, don’t insult your hosts. And especially don’t use your public platform to defame them like he did to Sadiq Khan. Harry’s well justified in wanting no part of this. I can guarantee you that the EU would have laughed someone with Trump’s attitude out of negotiations very quickly.
