The pressure is on for the last contest of the year to keep up this streak! I got nothing *_* 'Epiphany' was a last minute find though, need that kind of luck again!

Brilliant top two, wow! Haven't been that happy with the top end in a while, with Wholune 4th (yay, another spot on prediction *.*) and Altyr 6th too <3 Holland-Oats was my narrow fave and that's a solid finish for them too.

 

Just realised the singer on FARC's entry had an entry in the UK Eurovision national final a couple of years ago, was wondering why the name was familiar - top ten is a very solid result for them.

 

My odds weren't THAT out in the end, albeit I underpredicted Ojnoj (should have had more confidence in it, as I loved it) and Vulkyria (I was just completely wrong with that :lol:). And overpredicted Aeroche, but that really wasn't based on their reputation, the song genuinely did sound like a big hit, top ten at least, and it was so right in terms of timing with the spooky feel.

 

Thanks for the great hosting NocheLuna! I really hope to return to the final next time! Always less entertaining to watch from the sidelines, but I had lots of faves to support this month, great quality contest.

Congrats Liam, I do kinda see why it landslided even if it didn't quite make my points (I mean two people confirmed it so the signs were there already). Ojnoj's song was really good as well so am glad that was so high and very pleased to see Trifoski in the top 5 as that's been in my head all week. Some songs I could've done with being a bit higher (or lower in some cases...:ph34r:) but good results overall.

 

Going from second last to third from last, yay :lol: I am admittedly just pleased this made the final as I didn't see it as an obvious hit. It seems I've mastered the qualifier this year, but not the final placing D:

Congrats to Liam on the win in this contest! A great track and a clear favourite to win right from the start doing exactly that!

 

Quite liked the Ojnoj entry that finished one place behind it too, and an impressive performance from Wholune, never would have expected that to finish top five.

 

Voted for seven of that top ten so pretty good results on the whole, my 18 finished just behind in 11th as well. Surprised Aeroche finished as low as 24th though, thought their entry would be almost certain to finish top 20 at least!

 

Great hosting from NocheLuna for this contest as well.

* The fourway tie I mentioned in the sf results thread, included Klumininican Republic (who got a deduction), Terra Avium, Taahino and Skall who did not qualify.

 

* In sf2 Unovia won by a lot, they got 150 points.

* Just to avoid confusion, FARC's votes are correct - they did not give points to ten countries in their sf.

Not really - they gave 2 points to a country in the opposite sf! In the end those two points would not have changed anything since Elëdan had already gotten points from FARC.

Really happy with 15th, thank you to Deandria and Lotunia for the other 18's. I had no expectation of this being higher than Covenant and / or be another top 20 at that (expected low top 30 at best) so thanks.

 

Well done Liam. Finally clicked with me on my 2nd listen so good winner and Ojnoj too. Everything in that top 10 bar FARC (sorry) was very good. Fljóvatík weren't in my votes or Commiserations but were also very good.

For full ~transparency~ there was a small error in the final scoreboard though it doesn't affect any positions, just the scores of Cadelicia and Hendinia, neither of whom are here at the moment anyway so it's safely been quietly edited out in the spreadsheet / final scoreboard and we can pretend it didn't happen. :whistle:

I only voted for 4 of the top 10 in the end but they're all nice results - apart from obvz Unovia winning, great to see Wholune getting the breakout top 10 (and top 5 at that) smash that I was hoping they would have had with their last entry, yass for a proper rock song making the top 5 :cheer: and also thrilled to see my 18 from Jadakissnia staying comfortably top 10 and FLJ sneaking in, I feel like I should be more salty that Digitalism have now had 2 top 10 hits since my entry by them missed out but honestly I actually probably prefer both 'Open Waters' and this 'Pogo' remix to 'Blitz' even myself so I can't complain :lol: WD to Trifoski for an unexpected top 3 hit too (Marianas Trench going from a DNQ and a last place to this!) and Vülkyria proving that RÜFÜS DU SOL really are bulletproof in BJSC now. Not that we're ever going to allow them to be sent again. x

 

Some good results as well for Espen, Summericia, Cadelicia, Séyetana (picked up more than I realised after a slow start, yay for GHOST DATA delivering a top 20 hit for someone eventually), Taahino and an alright enough final showing for Jupiterdonia after they lagged near the bottom for so long. Another underwhelming result for another good Aeroche entry, I didn't personally like this one quite as much as DEVILNOTCRY but I was certain it'd have done nearly as well as that if not better considering it seemed to get an even better response on plug!! Deeply disappointing showings for Dobago (although what's new on that front) and especially Deandria though :cry: and I was really way off the mark for New Lexico, it was a top 3 hit on PopJustice and was sure it could appeal pretty well here too! Ah well ~ Also I see Lotunia really did get enough of a late points boost to avoid setting a new points low for the BJSC 74-present era so it's merely just a big flop rather than a historic one :lol: I know the feeling of going from winning to hosting a contest where I was dead last by a mile the whole time... (poor brave Eagles For Hands).

 

My entry this time was really just for myself and I had zero expectation of it qualifying so avoiding the bottom 5 is a victory by me (albeit only because of the deductions oops) x really happy that it managed to pick up 2 18s and three further medal positions, I honestly had no clue if anyone else would care for it at all! Thanks all who voted for it x plus 32nd is another new unique position for me so another of my flop finalists this year proving useful for something! Absolutely zero surprise that I was the country that came 18th in semi 2, nice that it seems my song grew on a couple of people from the semi based on this scoreboard (although I went from 10 in the semi to 0 in the final from Summericia it appears oop) but I actually seemingly would have been better off in semi 1 surprisingly. Not many glaring differences between the semis and the final this time at all, seems Séyetana picked up a decent amount after a semi-scrape in but that's near enough it.

 

Lastly thanks to Noche for being a fantastic host, really glad that we had the opportunity to have you as a host and that you took it on! :3

I knew I'd be one of the songs in the four way tie, I think that's the third time this year after Woodkid and Anoice that I got the last qualifying spot narrowly! :lol: I've been insanely lucky with these.

(Although we've yet missed again on that elusive 4th place - which along with 1st - is what I'm missing to complete my Top 10 collection!)
