KSI up to #11 !?

He dropped a music video for the song on Friday.

Top 10 by Friday please

Looks like in addition to the Christmas classics Ellie Goulding's Amazon exclusive 'River' is #71 today, good to see (although I've yet to hear her version of it as I don't have an Amazon Music subscription).
Very healthy album sales at the top...

Coldplay 52.6k

Robbie 48.3k

(rest will be added to my earlier post shortly)

Wow good sales ever for Robbie.

That said, i would believe Robbie Willliams would have had bigger pre orders.

I would have said the opposite and Coldplay with more pre-orders. What does anyone else think?

Great to see Celine still close to top ten! Much softer drop than for Westlife.

Westlife are still T10 so Celine’s drop is worse at no12.

Coldplay below the Monday midweek figure that Westlife had last week :( On course for a really huge drop from the opening of their last album and even from 'Ghost Stories', I really thought they'd still pretty comfortably do 100k+ first week with this album irrespective of general album sales decline / the lack of a top 10 single but I guess not... hopefully it can at least go on to beat Westlife's first week total since it does have some streaming presence.

On the flipside those are really decent sales for Robbie for a Christmas album which hasn't produced anything even close to a hit single. 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' only did 67k first week (also being a November release) and this looks like it'll come fairly close to that!

Xmas album is an easy win for acts like Robbie though, it was always going to do well.

Wouldn't be surprised if he released an RPO album next just to maintain those great sales.

Robbie’s team desperately trying to make up the difference - they have added a bundle to his website for a signed CD, Red Cassette and Green Cassette for £18.

Westlife will hopefully be pushed out of the Top 10 when streaming gets added.

Coldplay should do at least 80k ? By the end of the week.

disappointing for Coldplay after their last album opened with 235,975 sales

In the Albums Update Chart,

53 NEW The Singles Collection - The Beatles

Not bad for a box set costing £175. But won't last by Friday.

Gotta be honest I didn't expect Coldplay to be leading over Robbie. Great start for both of them though. Nice to see Westlife still retaining a top 10 berth as well. I've no doubt that once the next couple of weeks are out the way they'll recover to a higher position and sell consistently towards Christmas.
