I really hope so! It's her turn. If the USA and UK HAD to give us Trump and Bojo, they HAV3 to give us Mariah at no.1 in both countries too to balance out the horror!!

I kinda don't want Mariah to get to #1. It's just always been a #2 hit to me and it randomly going to #1 all these years later just doesn't seem fitting. I don't know if that makes sense or if I'm alone for feeling that way.... (same applies for Wham! actually, I want it to always remain the biggest ever selling #2 single - assuming it still is).

I'd be happy to concentrate on what if mariah does it this year. I'm surprised robbie isnt more of a christmas no 1 contender than he is this week.

I feel the same as you! Although I am rooting for Mariah a bit this year with it being the 25th anniversary and the extra promo she's doing.

Yep, and then next year they should change the rules to ban all Christmas songs over 3 years old.

I think we've debated this to death already..

I think they'd be mad to completely ban old Christmas songs, really can't see them doing it.
