Some US outlets now predicting it'll end up 306 for Biden.

That would turn out to be a convincing Biden win after all.

That might have had an impact actually. Was Republican turnout poor in Arizona or what else might have made it a bit of an anomaly this time?

Changing demographics are a big deal as well and increased Hispanic votes are a lot different throughout the country and different to Floridian Hispanic voters

Trump announcing confidence of winning Pennsylvania when all “legally casted votes are counted”
Sky News saying that Nigel Farage is set to lose 10k if Biden wins. Has a £10,000 bet on Trump.

I'm sure hearts are bleeding across the world at this news.

OK, I'm feeling a lot better about this now. I was a little pessimistic and doom-mongering this morning.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread and also kept me sane/company overnight on the night shift !

I enjoyed it, felt I was rambling a bit by 5am as I got tired (sorry Chris)!

We love to see it.
Doyou think they will have to arrest him from the White House? 😂
Staying quietly optimistic but I can't believe something is going the way I want it to for once  Hopefully Trump will stop soon enough to realise he's damaging his reputation even further by spreading 'fake news' which he claims to hate!
This is so frustrating - we can see how things are going but Wisconsin and Michigan percentage will matter. Fingers crossed it’s outside recount territory.
Are the Arizona and Nevada counts going to go Biden when the votes come in? I assume Vegas will be democrat?
1 million votes are still outstanding in Philadelphia according to a press conference that just took place there.

Arizona is difficult to gauge as it’s normally Republican, but Nevada seems fairly safe as all in person/Election Day vote is in and the rest is mail in which, as everywhere, skews Democratic

Answer me this why does Nebraska and Maine divide their EC vote??

Good to see John King back on the maps on cnn, must have went for his nap at the same time as me!!

omg last night after I finished my second bottle of wine (I was drowning my dissapointment) I had to take 2 xanax so I could sleep because boy I already started making plans to move to Canada. I swear.

This morning looks little more bright and finger crossed Biden keeps the lead in MI, WI, NV and AZ.

I am also wary of jinxing it but this looks as good as over now, I really don't see how Trump ends up winning either Wisconsin or Michigan now (although ffs @ how close especially the former is). His only small chance is if he somehow sneaks by in Nevada but the remaining vote there is likely to be good for Biden as well anyway (and even so, Biden still has a good chance of winning Pennsylvania and/or Georgia as well).

Betting markets have shifted very firmly in Biden's favour as well so I think it's ok to be confident now... maybe. x

Apparently in 2016 Trump won this state by only 10k points...looks like could happen the same but this time for Biden *finger crossed*

I read that these states do it by congressional district and this is actually how the founding fathers originally intended the EC works. They attempted to make an amendment to the constitution to force it but it never happened
