These country/artist/song name graphics are very ESC 2016, me likey!

I'd actually sat on "Antisocial Socialites" for a while but a mixture of not finding anything new that I liked enough and this age of social distancing made me decide to go with it.

Song: Tru

Artist: Laurel Halo & Hodge

We're into the final five now with Laurel Halo & Hodge representing Skall bringing just a little bit of house and techno to the mix with 'Tru'! They'll be hoping that this cut from 2018 will be able to stand out amongst quite a dancey field. It's the first time both artists have been sent.

Song: Life Is A Game Of Changing (Orbital Remix)

Artist: DMA's

With one of the more well known to the outer world acts of this months competition, we see Fljotavik entering Australian group DMA's with 'Life Is A Game Of Changing'. And as if it wasn't BJSC ready enough, they've thrown BJSC faves Orbital into the mix who have bagged themselves a top 5 before. How about another one?!

Song: Always In A Nightmare

Artist: AU5 & Nytrix

With one of the longer cuts of this semi final, timing in at over 6 minutes long, Trifoski have entered a touch of dubstep with AU5 & Nytrix's entry of 'Always In A Nightmare'. As with a lot of entrants this year, this is the first time for these artists and we know BJSC has a love for some longer songs. Will that work out in Trifoski's favour this time round?!

Song: Bring The Drums Back

Artist: NOISY

The penultimate entry to be revealed is that of Thelonia's who are ready to get this contest going a little NOISY, in capital letters at that. The Worthing trio are bringing some more touches of dance to the contest, just incase we didn't have enough. So, will we be asking to bring the track back for the final?!

Song: The Optimist

Artist: Evie Irie

And last by not least, it's one of the most successful nations ever - it's FARC! And they're ending it on an optimistic note, as alternative soul-pop teenager Evie Irie is making her debut in the contest. She's just 17 years of age, we have some tracks in this contest that are older than that, so how will lil Evie compare?

...and we're finally f***ing done, about an hour behind intended time. Apologies, guys! Will have the semis up by the end of the night, I prom x

Well done on making it through Rob xx this thread has looked wonderful throughout, kudos once again for all the effort *.* looking forward to hearing the other 2/3 of the songs this month that I haven't already heard

And one more song that I already know I love in this final section, I do like the original slightly more but in either form 'Life Is A Game Of Changing' is a great track (and a bit unexpectedly so as I'd never cared for DMA'S before this).

Skall going techno pretty much never misses for me also, so excitement. x

I wasn't around for all of it but thank you Rob for going to the effort of a showcase! Definitely helps us get to know the songs better and your captions and headers have not gone unnoticed. It is something I hope to do if I ever host again.

That was the intention/inspiration!

070 Shake and that sang in particular

Already loving Persephonia's entry, and a few others, shaping up to be a good semi.

Here to stan Persephonia

You love to see it! *.*

It vaguely reminds me of Break A Mirrored Leg if that piques your interest x

ADONIA OMG

Happy somebody recognizes my entry!! Went WAY BACK into the archives for this one...

Thank you so much for the showcase Rob, what a great way to start off this contest! I've heard about 15 of these songs before and a few that I have put on heavy rotation before which is by far and away a record for me ^_^ Also, my friend from college plays the love interest in Isaac Dunbar's latest music video so check it out!!

Loved the presentation Rob, really hyped for this contest!

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER better live up to its name xx
I'm pretty sure he got the name because he mostly uses analogue synths, hence no computer. :o

Live version here, found it first. Was very tempted to enter just because of how damn cool it is but there are obvs advantages to the studio version.

Great presentation Rob!

I was aware that Wictoria took part in Melfest or something Eurovision related but I had no idea Famous Dex was such a well-known artist :D
