Already loving Persephonia's entry, and a few others, shaping up to be a good semi.

Early hype for Botannika and USoJ in my semi, the former is an all-time fave and the latter I loved last year <3

Not sure I’m familiar with anything else in the semi on first glance.

Song: Black Leather

Artist: KeiiNo

I'm almost surprised it's taken so long for KeiiNo to reach BJSC, but here we are! Bhangra wanted a touch of 'Black Leather' but it was Ojnoj who managed to snatch them up and they will be hoping that the Eurovision 2019 televote winners will be able to gather up fans in such a frenzy in Buzzjack to deliver a result just as impressive!

Song: Everybody Wants To Be Famous

Artist: Superorganism

We move from the camp of past Eurovision finalists to the credibility of English indie pop favourites Superorganism. They've failed to qualify once and limped in at 36th on their other attempt so past form isn't on their side, but Suedeonia will be hoping this 2018 track will be able to win over at least a few fans to hit the final!

Song: Fashion Blogger

Artist: Rhyme So

Let's all say a big hello to our only new country to this contest, Why So Sirius! We're glad you chose Hendinia's contest to make a debut and it looks like they're coming with something right up our alley. Described as future pop with a guest feature from drag quen Milk, this quirky looking nation look like they're not going to enter quietly!

Song: Golden

Artist: ELM

Now over to one of Hendinia's biggest support, with an entry that doesn't really have much to tell us online but that screengrab sure looks camp! ELM might look Scandi but this quirky little four piece are hoping to turn their song title into a medal position come final time if they can make it! Rachel Platten did it for Greenfroze last time we were in Hendinia, will history repeat itself?

Song: Lottery (feat. Aja)

Artist: Liz

It's a mixture of artists who have had some success in BJSC before here, coming together to represent Unovia. Aja, the featuring artist on 'Lottery' finished 9th for Unovia themselves in 2018 while LIZ's two previous appearances finished 10th and 13th. Can the two of them combine forces to turn their low top 10 hits into one almighty smash?

That KEiiNO song is a little bit of a guilty pleasure x I listened to the LIZ/Aja song a while ago too, I don't really remember it but I did thumb it up on YouTube to I must have liked it to at least some extent :magic:

Song: Fake Friends (feat. Alex Hosking)

Artist: PS1

With their back-up option after Kiesza picked up quite the wave of hype during the confirmation period, Jupiterdonia turned towards New York house producer PS1 to continue delivering bangers our way. They're going to need more than fake friends to make it through the semi - will their real fans show out?

Song: Skin And Bone

Artist: Zuzu

Googling Zuzu came up with some interesting results but the description of "Liverpool's emo-pop princess" was the one that seemed most interesting. The artist has picked up a bit of hype on the web and Utopia will be hoping that the hype can continue onto Buzzjack to deliver them another place in the final.

Song: Middle Of Love

Artist: Leland & VINCINT

You might not know you know one of the artists behind Harmonica's most recent entry but Leland has not only penned tracks for the likes of Buzzfaves Selena Gomez & Troye Sivan but he's also responsible for some Drag Race likes 'Break Up (Bye Bye)' and 'I'm That Bitch'. Now we seem him on a 2018 collaboration with fellow male vocallist VINCINT hoping to deliver more success to his name, this time in BJSC.

Song: Do I Have To Learn It?

Artist: NIMMO

Hotly tipped to break into the mainstream, it never quite happened for NIMMO but it's never stopped them gaining some success in BJSC. They've previously finished 36th and the painful 11th but D'yermak'er will be hoping to deliver Nimmo their first top 10 as they return to the contest after a one month break. As one of Hendinia's biggest supporters, we're delighted to have you back!

Song: Bury Us

Artist: The Naked And Famous

It's been a rough couple of months for Cor Lupus in BJSC and don't we know about it?! So they'll probably be relieved to have their 50th anniversary crop up now, giving them a chance to revive The Naked And Famous, a band who previously gave them their biggest win ever with 'Higher'. It'd be a remarkable feat to win the contest twice but it has been done before in Hendinia as Sheelah did so. Will The Naked And Famous do the same?

Thanks for the showcase! Really appreciate the artwork quality! :D
OMG Foster The People and The Naked And Famous, one of my recycled acts, both in the same semi. I was considering sending that, but I opted out in favour of Louis & FTP

Is sending songs from Noah Centineo movies the new meta? First To All The Boys and now Sierra Burgess

I am PERFECTLY FINE with this semi draw so far, my first self-recycle for my 50th, hope you guys like it!

I do quite like 'Bury Us', not entirely sure it'll recapture the same huge success of 'Higher' but still my tip to be the most successful of the anniversary entries. NIMMO song is p good also!
Have you smuggled an obvious sample past us or something xx

As in 'you have heard nothing like my song before' :P

Song: Souls Of The Other World

Artist: Luis Peixoto

Vulkyria appear to be taking a trip to a slightly different corner of their love, into the world of Portuguese disco! It's not every day we have someone from Portugal entered and it's a debut for Luis Peixoto. This is a definite departure from Scandilove, so how will this end up for Vulkyria?

Song: A Friend

Artist: FRMTN

Next we move to Niceland, a South London electronic/dance group with their track 'A Friend'! We're going back to 2017 for this entry and we reckon that Niceland are going to hope they can pick up more than a friend or two to get them through this difficult semi final.

Song: M (Above & Beyond Remix)

Artist: Ayumi Hamasaki

Well, well, well! It's been a while since we've seen Ayumi Hamasaki, whose first BJSC entry dates back as far as BJSC 3. Fast forward a whole 120 contests and she's back again with the help of an Above & Beyond Remix to represent Republic Of Adonia. Dance meeting this J-Pop artist is an interesting fusion of sounds, how will they do with it?

Song: Desperado Vespa

Artist: LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER

With quite possibly my favourite artist name of this contest, Aelandor enter with this East Anglia electronic producer with the equally interestingly titled 'Desperado Vespa'! We seem to have quite a lot of electronic leaning tracks in this contest, but will LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER be able to jump above the rest of the pack?

Song: Lonely In Tokyo

Artist: MIREI

To close off this 16-20 section, Oslol are participating with MIREI's Lonely In Tokyo, which was also attempted to be confirmed by Lotunia! They now face one another in Semi 2. This is the debut for the Japanese solo singer who will be hoping she's not lonely when it comes to the voting period!

LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER cool name for a band... or not

Lonely in Tokyo could do pretty well. its okay on first listen could grow on me.

I thought Superorganism would've been too well-known for BJSC. Been loving 'Everybody Wants To Be Famous' for a couple years now! Also Liz 'Lottery' is another one I'm a fan of but hadn't considered for the contest. HYPE.
