March 30, 20205 yr The mids so far have 0 sales from HMV, which is missing for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That could change things significantly - all 3 versions of Dua’s album are currently sold out on HMV and aside from her website the majority of physical’s will be coming from HMV.

March 30, 20205 yr Little Mix have a 3.8k lead on #11, seems like Top 10 will be safe. 3.8k really isn't that comfortable. It will all depend how they hold up on iTunes and if they manage to remain stable on Spotify. Where is Kygo / Tyga and Zara atm?
March 30, 20205 yr Dua Lipa chose the wrong week to release her album, she should’ve released it this friday as originally planned... I’ve bought both albums but this makes me want 5SOS to get the #1 - they would have got it had Dua not pulled her release forward (and they could still get it but I feel Dua’s team will pull out all the stops now). Dua would have had multiple chances over the coming weeks to get #1 where 5SOS will fade away quickly despite it being such a solid album - probably their best yet.

March 30, 20205 yr There doesn't seem to be any new #1 competitors coming out this week. Though I think The Strokes have a good chance at #1 the week after. Can't wait for their album, if it's quality I hope it does return them to the top :D Was the last one "First Impressions Of Earth" in 2006? Dua deserves the number 1 album this week, a good sophomore pop album, though I'm surprised at its sales so far and it even potentially needing obsolete formats to get to 1 this week.
