I wasn't even aware 5SOS album was out so soon... I work at HMV!

Dua had a HMV exclusive picture disc vinyl though! (I believe it sold out too)

It doesn't really matter whether they're doing it for the chart battle or not, the fact that they're trying to get people to buy their music at all by using the pandemic as an incentive is gross to me. It just feels really off.

Giving thousands to a heath organisation is off?! It’s been happening for years with charity releases giving a % to different organisations.

All Time Low are releasing an album on Friday - how did their last one do in the first week?

(though this one is having a much better fan reception than that one)

The last All Time Low album did 14.7k first week to debut at #7 - that is probably a bigger release than anything that was on the release schedule when I checked the other day, idk how resilient their fanbase will really be though. That album had a drop of around 5k first week sales from the album before it which got to #1. Can't rule them out for next week I guess ~
All Time Low have a lot of bundles/formats too which will help - 2 vinyl, 2 cassettes, CD, HMV exclusive picture disc etc., - They also had a signed pre-order on Amazon which I’m guessing will be impacted.

If they're also using the multi-format approach, I think they could do it

judging from 5sos sales, looks like labels/online stores have no problem shipping items

More so using the pandemic to get people to purchase their album is off to me. That's fine if you disagree, I just think it's really gross and self serving. There are much better ways to get people to donate, or you know... use your own millions to donate to the health organisation as opposed to the people currently furloughed/losing their jobs. But each to their own.

Have All Time Low moved their album forward by a couple of months then? I saw it on the release schedule with a date of 29th May.
Do we know how far behind 'Break My Heart' is from Joel Corry? Is there any chance Dua could take the #3, #4 and #5 positions?
They've combined the two entries for Believe It now!

About 2k, so no chance unfortunately!

it's probably too far behind to catch up, Joel sold more yesterday too.
