I do quite like this, with the exception of To Die For Sam has been pretty consistent this era.

Not as good as How Do You Sleep for e after a couple listens but still decent

I'm pleased to see this is getting a positive reaction from everyone, but I can't help feel a bit let down at the moment. The whole way through the first listen I was waiting for it get to a big moment and just when you think its getting there the song finishes. I think I'll enjoy it more on repeated listens, but I was expecting something better from this collaboration.

I don't like this at all. I wasn't too keen on To Die For at first but it grew – definitely not as strong as DWAS or HDYS, but still far better than anything from their first two eras.

I can't see this growing though, can't stand that chorus. The verses are ok but not enough to make me want to listen to it again haha.

Omg, I actually really like this! I love the sultry vocals from both, it makes it very enjoyable!
I'm actually surprised about this song! I thought this will be the same with rest of the pop songs out there but I find appeal in the melody and the instrumentation overall. Though it tailed off in the end, I think it is better than quite a lot of pop songs already.
I do think that the only real issue with the song is that it feels like its missing something at the end, it needed to build up again
The verses are fantastic - loving the "it's a cold night in my bed in the heat of the summer" / "it's a hot night in my head in the chill of the winter" contrast. Very sultry and sexy. The chorus could be a LOT stronger though.

This is essentially my feelings. But it's a super interesting song, I love the production and I can see myself being drawn back to it quite a bit, I just wish the chorus hit a bit harder - it's like if the Black Widow or Dark Horse chorus didn't have the little instrumental breakdown afterwards and it completely left you hanging.

The verses are an absolute 10/10 but on repeated listens the chorus does fizzle out a bit and it misses the MASSIVE drop it should have, but it's still an 8. This is such a rebound for Demi after I Love Me lol (tbf it would be hard for it not to be)

I've heard it quite a few times now, and I have mixed feelings! I love the verses, but currently feel a bit underwhelmed by the chorus. The verses are very fresh and interesting, and it makes me think that it's building up to something quite different/massive sounding, but it doesn't for me.

I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, for someone to love me (x2) - the sentiment of the lyrics fits in with the song as a whole, of course, but melodically/instrumentally it feels very disjointed from everything else going on.

Overall I kind of like it, enough to give it more plays for sure. I just have the niggling feeling at the moment that it could have been better, but maybe that feeling will pass when the song has more time to settle.

OMG that's exactly what it is. And the last chorus is missing the really big build up that Dark Horse has

I just listened to it and I love it.

And I don't know if it's just me but this really could have worked much better if it was just Sam tbh. I find Demi added nothing to the song!!!

Totally agree with this verdict.

Love the music video though

Is this going to be the era that most big acts go through and Sam starts to struggle? It’s not looking great so far - ‘To Die For’ wasn’t a hit at the same levels Sam is used to, ‘I’m Ready’ looking likely to debut outside the Top 20 tomorrow (Although of course it could become a huge hit), album essentially scrapped, and media and press seem to have their knives out for Sam.
