Discovered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched his YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. With Bieber's debut EP My World, released in late 2009, Bieber became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber released his debut studio album My World 2.0 in 2010. It debuted at number one in several countries and contained the worldwide hit single "Baby", which was certified 12x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Following his debut album and promotional tours, he released his 3D biopic-concert film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. In years after the releases of the Under the Mistletoe (2011) and Believe (2012), Bieber had several run-ins with the law internationally before his first arrest in 2014, including when he was accused of reckless driving in his neighbourhood in 2012, and charged in Brazil with vandalism in 2013. More than 270,000 people petitioned the White House seeking to have him deported from the United States. Although the number of signatures received was sufficient to require a response under published White House guidelines, the Obama Administration declined substantive comment on the petition. Following the controversies surrounding Bieber, his sound became more mature as he transitioned into EDM and drifted away from teen pop. Released in 2015, his fourth studio album Purpose became his most critically and commercially successful album, spawning three Billboard Hot 100 number one singles: "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", and "Love Yourself". Since the release of Purpose, Bieber had featured on several successful collaborations, including "Cold Water", "Let Me Love You", "Despacito (Remix)", "I'm the One", "I Don't Care" and "10,000 Hours". "Yummy", his first solo single in five years, was released on January 3, 2020, debuting at number two on the Hot 100. His fifth studio album, Changes, was released in 2020. Bieber has sold 105 million records in the US alone, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including a Grammy Award, 15 American Music Awards, 20 Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, a record 21 MTV Europe Music Awards and three MTV Video Music Awards. He was included by Forbes list of the top ten most powerful celebrities in the world, in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2016, Bieber became the first artist to surpass 10 billion total video views on Vevo. He has been honoured with a star in front of Avon Theater in Ontario, Canada, and was among the 60,000 Canadians that received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Justin Bieber 2010 11 One Time -1- 2010 71 Love Me -PS- 2010 62 One Less Lonely Girl -2- 2010 76 Favorite Girl -PS- 2010 03 Baby (feat. April 24, 20206 yr 14 | 11 | 8th week Mabel Boyfriend 3rd single from High Expectations Released: 26th February 2020 Label: Polydor Records Chart Statistics NE (12/03/2020) | 28-25-17-11-10-10-11-14 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 07 Sales 15 Audio Streaming 23 Video Streaming Video xi3c-9qzrPY Biography An effortless storyteller with a pure and unfiltered singing talent and songwriting ability, Mabel McVey has an instinctive gift of melody far beyond her twenty three years. Indeed Mabel has made quite the impression since bursting on to the scene in September 2015 with her release‘Know Me Better’. Quietly released onto Mabel’s personal SoundCloud, the single didn’t remain a secret for long, putting the wheels in motion for Mabel to become a fresh and exciting name amongst a brand new generation of r’n’b chanteuses. In the three since, Mabel’s growth (musically, emotionally, visually) has been extraordinary. Her formative material led to the surprise breakthrough of ‘Finders Keepers’ in 2017, which went platinum, spent 5 weeks in the top 10, and saw Mabel nominated for her first BRIT Award (Critics’ Choice). She has gone from playing nervous, intimate shows to touring with Harry Styles, selling out her own dates around the world (including London’s Brixton Academy) and has clocked up increasingly-surreal experiences en route(which includes playing Wembley Stadium in a Burberry catsuit and rainbow flag). Over two million single sales in the UK and over half a billion streams followed. Mabel has emerged as one of the UK’s most positive, candid lyrical voices, with songs that frequently explore everything from identity, the challenges of modern relationships, and working out who you are and what you want. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2017 08 Finders Keepers (feat. April 24, 20206 yr hearing a clip of Enter Shikari on the chart show in 2020 *.* good shit, and a great result for them!
April 24, 20206 yr I'm gonna get lynched but stuff like this is so contrived for good publicity and better chance of having a hit single. The only reason this is even charting is because it's dedicated to NHS and it made an "emotional TV moment". She's smart, I'll give her that. Unfortunately nobody would have given a f*** about her or her music otherwise. Let's be real. Don't forget the audition was recorded before this whole crisis blew up. It wasn't contrived by her.
April 24, 20206 yr Boyfriend is Mabel's worst single yet. Which is a shame after the stellar run of singles from her before it. Edited April 24, 20206 yr by Gerald
April 24, 20206 yr Yes I do know but the success although still really good isn't on the same level as the first two eras, no? Bar Dancing With A Stranger But it’s certainly doing better than their second era love... two hits (DWAS & HDYS) compared to one (TGAG) is a step up and the fact that all songs of SS3 have reached top 20, where their last era single couldn’t pass top 30 after TGAG shows you, Sam is not going anywhere anytime soon
April 24, 20206 yr Boyfriend is generic as hell but an absolute bop sorry x It's a hit, but I do think her label would've wanted it to go top 5 given how much Spotify love her/the song [/bjork]

April 24, 20206 yr I don't think Mabel will ever have a better song than "Finders Keepers" One Shot, Fine Line and Mad Love say hello!
