As for the actual album, I really liked it! I do think it's my least favourite on first listen but it's not far off where My Everything was a few weeks ago on it's first listen and lots of the tracks have already become quintessential Ariana. Full ranking:

Omg her albums are always incredibly song, 1-9 I love, 10 is very good and 11-12 aren't even bad! <3

'Better Left Unsaid' a bit of a curious mix of sounds, parts of it sounded like an LMFAO song *_* I quite enjoyed it for the weirdness though, it can sit with 'Honeymoon Avenue' and 'Daydreamin'' as my 3 fave album tracks ~

 

'Honeymoon Avenue' ended up being easily my fave song on here. Most of it was not for me but I expected that. I'll aim to be around for the other listenthroughs anyway and hopefully will find more stuff that is to my taste from her next two albums (have already heard the last two). x

The two songs I already knew well are top 2 of course. A few album tracks that blended into one for me are at the bottom but I liked every single track on this album which was a welcome surprise! Piano down to Right There are welcome discoveries from the album and the rest were impressive for a debut album for a Nickelodeon actress. She's come so far!

 

Put Your Hearts Up would've been a cute inclusion however I understand it doesn't fit the sound of the album too well.

Popular Song is another single I'd somehow never heard before today! Incredibly cheesy, but I love a bit of cheese and found it to be enjoyable! Oops at it only making it to #177 in the UK :o

 

Closing track Better Left Unsaid is a huge highlight of the album for me! :music: The production is very of its time, but it's right up my street. *.*

 

Overall, I really enjoyed that listen! I wish I hadn't slept on the album, I reckon in 2013 this would have hugely appealed to me. I'm not really sure why I was apathetic to checking more of Ariana's music out after I liked The Way. Oop! I didn't properly get on board with Ariana until Problem, although that's most likely the same story for lots of other fans too.

Honestly, this album is underrated but still do good. It is so much better than Sweetener (except the 3 singles)
