omg PLEASE. It was legit my favourite channel before it got bumped and now I don’t even care for it with the content on iPlayer. I’d much rather have the actual channel itself back
Actually BBC3 is to replace BBC4 as I heard they were scraping it, unless they have changed their mind over it.

That's just a rumour currently, and the BBC have said they have "no plans" to scap BBC4, though that may of course change.

That to me would make no sense, the reason for scrapping BBC3 in the first place was something like they found their average audience was 30-40, not the young people who they were targeting.

They didn't scrap BBC3 completely though, they just moved it online. I assume they'll bring it back because it's being doing quite well, particularly with younger audiences since? I'm not sure about the other programs, but I know Drag Race UK was a big success. So much so they aired the season on BBC 1 after it had finished.

Yeah I meant the TV channel, should've made that clearer.

Drag Race and This Country have been it's biggest shows (though This Country has ended), if the BBC3 channel does come back - it would be a good idea for new episodes of Drag Race to premiere on the channel, and then on iPlayer right after.

Its a good time for it to return with its target audience age group having a little more time to watch TV because of less nights out because of the pandemic. I am sure it will shed some of the lowbrow offerings that led it to be heavily criticized in some parts of the media originally, I think it already has on its online version though and has a focus on mostly comedy and documentaries now  .....

Nothing I assume?

BBC Four currently uses the bandwidth from CBeebies once it goes off air at 6:58pm so unless CBBC goes back to finishing at 7pm or BBC Four starts at 9pm once CBBC goes off air something will change or they’ll move Four to online only and show its programmes on BBC Two?

Ah I see. My prediction is CBBC will move back to finishing at 7pm.

Before the watershed they could air programmes aimed at the older end of CBBC's target audience, even going back to nostalgia programming like original Tracy Beaker and The Sarah Jane Adventures. The new Tracy Beaker series for BBC Three would work there as well.
