June 3, 20205 yr :( So disappointed we've been knocked out but at least we went out on a round where everyone sent big hitters and not the worst single round like we nearly did.
June 3, 20205 yr Gutted that Ariana is out  on the bright side, we went out on a real high as Lewis has mentioned, plus she finished 20th in the first edition so 12th is a step in the right direction at least. Third time lucky for top 10? :o I think I'll continue posting our likely would-be choices in the relevant thread in the Ariana AF, as people seemed to get really good discoveries out of 'Be Alright' and 'ghostin' for example and we still had some killer album tracks up our sleeve.
June 3, 20205 yr Getting down to the nitty gritty! :o I think Dua has gone out at about the right time (although still had a few great songs to go!) but Ariana seems a bit of an early shocker :o Thought she could have been a top 5 contender!
June 3, 20205 yr PeOpLe JuSt VoTe FoR aRiAnA's NaMe (Y'all have no taste allowing 'God is a woman' to be last tho :snif: 'Break My Heart' I also voted for so... not great results here xx)
June 3, 20205 yr Ariana :( With the benefit of hindsight, I suppose a choice like One Last Time, Into You or No Tears Left to Cry would have given the Ariana forum a stronger chance of ending up Top 10, but no doubt all 3 were being saved. Well done for making it this far, I'm so glad you got to send the stunning 'ghostin' in particular  Well done to the Dua forum too! Relatively limited options compared to some forums, so it's great to have made it this far. I didn't realise that I Knew You Were Trouble was quite so popular on BuzzJack, I thought she might have been in danger this round. The power of Taylor!

Well done for making it this far, I'm so glad you got to send the stunning 'ghostin' in particular  Yep they were indeed all being saved :( if we made it past this round then it was time for our big three singles and the big hitting album tracks. I'm wondering if 'Break Free' might have been a better choice for this round, with GIAW in its place earlier. 'God is a woman' came 4th in the Ariana rate so that seemed like a safe bet but it's so hard to gauge site-wide popularity compared to what the big fans love. Ah well, the only way is up next time!
June 3, 20205 yr Thrilled to see Pink in the final 10! I think she came 13th last year. Can’t see her getting much further as she doesn’t have any singles that fit the bill so there’s a reliance on people actually listening to the songs
June 3, 20205 yr gutted for Dua, now it'll just be Rihanna who has a perfect record in my stats (unless they somehow manage to send one of the few songs of hers I don't care for).

Ah well, the only way is up next time!I said this to Sam! :( I think (in hindsight ofc) Giaw might have been better in the Free Choice before this one. :drama: I'm devastated I couldn't fit Giaw in my votes. But I'm much more content knowing that my vote wouldn't have made a difference anyway  That round was honestly B R U T A L though. I hated (yet loved the round itself ofc) having to decide what to vote for in that bunch! Only Dua and RiRi were confirmed as non-votes for me. I like them both, but both artists have far better for me. Everyone else was top tier of their respective artists singles discographies!
June 3, 20205 yr Phew, exactly the two that I'd have chosen to leave based on those song choices. Pleased that my faves all survived, especially Taylor and Katy who sent two of their very best singles imo
June 3, 20205 yr :( Gutted to see Dua is out and, despite we couldn't reach the Top 10 like the last edition, I think we've done well based of the limitations in her discography. Either way, thank you to the people who support her through these rounds.
June 3, 20205 yr 7 rings would have comfortably qualified or One Last Time which would leave with Into You still!
June 3, 20205 yr 7 rings would have comfortably qualified or One Last Time which would leave with Into You still! I highly doubt that '7 rings' would've comfortably qualified at this stage! It gets quite a lot of hate in the chart forum and even has haters in the Ari forum. As much as I love it myself. We wanted to send 'One Last Time' to the next free choice round oops :( but yeah I think we possibly just got the ordering of the free choice rounds wrong - I'm sure that would've sailed through here if we wanted to abandon playing the 'in it for the long haul' game, or got in there with 'Rain On Me' first or possibly 'Break Free' now instead of earlier as that might've captured a similar dance vote as 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. But yes, hindsight is wonderful and we'd been listening to the majority all the way through. (unless... there are more '7 rings' stans than I thought? which I'd approve of. It didn't perform that great in her rate and its biggest supporter was cqmerqn)
June 3, 20205 yr Dua Lipa's emergence came long after I stopped having exposure to mainstream radio and stopped seeking out stuff that was popular, so can't say I'm familiar with anything of hers, and I can't say there's been anything I've listened to in these 7 rounds I'd have any real desire to hear again. I was a bit disappointed really, didn't get the popularity at all. Ariana was sort of the same, although I'd heard more of her, her early big singles were part of the reason I did give up on what was popular, but at least Ghostin' was really good.

People vote for Taylor because of Taylor :P sarcasm/joking etc. etc. Yeah sad to see those 2 exiting before top 10. Both songs are great but looking now it was really hard to go against and compete with those monster hits. If Ariana went with One Last Time or NLTTC and Dua with DSN or Physical, I think both would have survived!!!
