This is our first points of any kind awarded to New Lexico since IZA in BJSC 104 (incidentally the last time they auto-qualified), and beats their previous high of 11 points from us in BJSC 82 with Sofi De La Torre. It is the third time New Lexico have been in our medal positions, previously peaking in 2nd place (10 points) with Bright Light Bright Light in BJSC 36 back when they were still known as Allecian, with the second being in BJSC 42, so they have had to wait over eight years to reach our top 3 again. Completing a fresh top 2 countries-wise, Suedeonia also receive their highest points from us to date, with 15 points going to their afrobeat banger marking the first time they have ever made our medal positions (their previous best was 10 points for both Where's The Beach in BJSC 86 and Superwalkers in BJSC 89). It's not all change in our votes though as our 13 goes to Jadakissnia, which means they have got an 18, a 15 and a 13 (and a 12 for that matter) from us this year alone already. Their latest medal position, for a breezy dnb bop which reminds us a lot of classique Jadakissnia entry 'Virtual Paradise', is their landmark 20th medal position from us in total (6 18s, 7 15s and 7 13s).
