Now can y'all stop paying her dust!!! --- Tove with ANOTHER 2nd place finish. THE UNDERDOG *.* What a fantastic top 2 though. Both discoveries and two of my absolute fave discoveries across all the AF Idol's I think!
July 23, 20205 yr Honestly over the moon with Röyksopp finishing 7th as this was the round I was dreading the most, or at least the round where I knew I wouldn't be able to send a particular favourite of mine. Great result for Mariah, smashed it! :o
July 23, 20205 yr The disrespect to Coldplay has begun :frankie: well at least they beat Pixie xx All of my other votes are in the top 8 though and the remainder of the results pretty closely tracks my ranking of the songs I didn't vote for so that particular lack of taste aside I can't complain too much, even the Mariah song was good :magic: Pleasantly surprised that Röyksopp managed to do so well again without the aid of Robyn this time! Greyson not coming last :clap: (this song wasn't as good as the one in round 1 though xx but I guess he'll tend to do better in rounds where he isn't competing against mostly songs that everyone already knows)

Prisoner was something of a discovery for me too, given I'd barely heard it before preparing for this contest - glad that many of you like it too! :wub: Also great to see Carly within the Top 3 (my forthcoming comment may seem daft considering that great placement, but I was a little surprised that a few people seemed rather indifferent to it, but I will attempt to not go fully Carly Loon on y'all x #downloadandstreamEMOTION) Lots of great songs from this round, many I hadn't heard before and I will happily revisit again, including Tove Lo, Tinashe and Janet. I'm particularly happy that Greyson did better in this round than last time! Also great to see Rachel Stevens that high up the results #downloadandstreamComeandGetIt

I think it actually hindered her! The original is an incredible and hugely popular song, her cover sucked out all life from this so it actually sounded blasphemous and even worse knowing the original.
