Let's kick off the results. 21 songs, what will be last (I think we all know) and what will come first.

I also included 3 non-singles to take the total up to 20- then was informed I'd left Lucky Strike out of the singles list- so therefore we have our fab 21. Will be revealing 21 right now

21. 2099 (with Charli XCX) (4.54)

In a shock to probably no-one, Troye's second collab with Charli XCX, 2099, leaves us in last place after receiving a multitude of 0s and -1s. The song did also pick up some 11s and 10s but even them couldn't bring the average up that much. I personally really like this song, in fact maybe more than the one inspired by the year 100 years before this- it's quintessential Charli but a newer sound for Troye and enjoyed hearing him on this type of track.

 I gave '2099' a 10 so very disappointed by that result but not surprised at all, it seems people either love it or hate it!

Thankfully majority hate it x

Seriously, the worst thing he has done to date. :puke: Thank God it's last!

Oops I forgot to vote in this xo

You all don't deserve my votes anyway if you're gonna put 2099 last

20. There For You (with Martin Garrix) (6.73)

19. Revelation (with Jonsi) (6.75)

Leaving us in 20th place is one of Troye's biggest hits (not that he's had many hits) collab with Martin Garrix, There For You. The song was expected to be a big hit, using the then extremely popular future-bass sound Garrix had seen huge hits with in his previous releases with Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa- sadly There For You only peaked at number 40 but did become Troye's first ever UK top 40 single! This was a definite disappointment for me, not that I was expecting much as I wanted impressed with Scared To Be Lonely. The lyrics are a little cliche too and coming from the fact this has placed last, Buzzjack agrees! Fun fact, one of the writers of this song also co-wrote Sweet But Psycho for Ava Max, High Hopes for Panic! at the Disco and Somebody for Natalie La Rose (what a throwback)

And in 19th is Troye's collab with Icelandic musician Jonsi for soundtrack single Revelation. The song was released for the movie Boy Erased- a film about gay conversion therapy and this song ended up being nominated for a Golden Globe because of it! The song is a very haunting ballad but not as memorable as other ballads to come in my opinion- I'd probably say this is about appropriately ranked to be honest.

These results are going very well so far! I have a soft spot for 'Revelation' though. It's beautiful.

The correct last-placer, 2099 is just a bit of a mess oops ~

Revelation is cute! But that's about right too. There for You is far too low though, it's much better than that!

Shame There For You is out already! Revelation and 2099 deserving of being in the bottom three though x

18. Bite (7.07)

17. Animal (7.32)

The first non-single leaves us in 18th with Bite. This has always been one of my favourite Troye gems and it was a shame to see it never get the video it definitely deserved. The song is a moody, eerie, electronic number with that harmonized refrain of “Kiss me on the mouth and set me free” building throughout the song and then being stripped back at the end for one final call in isolation. This is definitely one for any Billie Eilish or Lewis Blissett fans out there combining the very delicate vocals with the dark production. Also this live is absolutely phenomenal if you ever get the chance to see him! Would have liked to see this a bit higher but happy to see it outdo at least There For You which is definitely a lot more commercial and well known.

Animal leaves us next and I honestly didn’t even know this was considered a single but according to Wikipedia here we are. This is one that grows with every listen as each time you hear more subtle production elements- the stark switch up in instrumentation that occurs is stunning and definitely a highlight on the Bloom album. This is still probably appropriately rated for me though- there’s just so many highlights!

'Animal' is essentially a Lorde/Frank Ocean cosplay but I adore it, I also think I love '2099' even more now I know how much people hate it.

It's a pity Troye did sing in one of Garrix's weakest songs

There is a demo of Troye singing Scared to be Lonely, which is a much better song
