The song was released in April 2007 as the lead single to the re-release of Beyoncé's album B'Day. The song entered the chart at #10 before climbing from 5 to 1 a fortnight later, staying at the top for 3 weeks - holding off the Arctic Monkeys and Manic Street Preachers in the process.
