Ooh I didn't know you were a Lorde fan *.* I delved back into her discography for the hundredth time during lockdown and was actually thinking that a rate would be a good idea at some point. So I'm very here for this!! So. much. GOODNESS :heart:

Both albums are incredible but 'Pure Heroine' *slightly* edges it for me! Fully expecting 'Melodrama' to win but both are sooo good that I really don't mind. Even 4 of the extras got 10s lol. My anticipation for a 3rd album has never been higher after listening to everything back this morning :'( one day <3

Melodrama

 

I have no shame with those Melodrama scores, but it really is one of my favourite albums of all time at this point. An almost perfect album. My 11 could have easily gone to 'Ribs' or 'Green Light', but I doubt they'll need the help. 'Hard Feelings' is so underrated — the lyrics, the production, that instrumental middle eight. Swoon.

I love Melodrama but never heard anything from it until 2018 as there was very little about her previous material that made me think it'd be worth listening to any more. Have revisited now and will listen a couple more times to everything I'm not as familiar with, but not making me want to reevaluate my initial opinion. [/unpopular]
