Voted. Fairly decent semi I guess but down in comparison to last month for me. Not sure if I'd give any of these anymore than 8 points in other semi's.

Semi 1 was interesting, a little over half of the songs sounded worthy of points (which I think is more than I could say about either semi last month!) but there weren't really any songs that immediately stood out as obvious 18 contenders, just a ton of songs that sounded like they'd usually finish about midtable in my votes. So quite likely my biggest faves will end up being mostly from semi 2 unless there are a lot of growers here!

 

I'll send some hype over to POPHub and Vülkyria for both coming through with surprise standouts. There were also some less surprising standouts who can probably guess who they are. x

Having completed a full listen through, I am feeling marginally more confident for EHLE.

Semi 2 definitely had higher highlights than semi 1 but actually had fewer points-worthy songs overall - the quality was great for the first third or so of it but did drop off quite a lot after that apart from a couple of exceptions!

Voted! Really liked Semi 1, I had 18 to vote for, no fillers in my top 10 and some pretty good ones are left out.

Voted! That was one of the most difficulat semis I've have to rank, not because the quality of the songs was higher than usual but more that were so many of the same quality; on a different day my Top 15 could have been in a completely different order!

Voted. A very solid semi, with four songs I really loved and ten more that I liked a lot, six of which made it into my votes. My top two are wonderful <3

 

Have also listened to Semi 2 but didn't think it was that great in comparison. Lots of ok stuff and one or two standouts, but not much I'll be rushing back to.
