There’s just no soul, or meaning behind it  and they could’ve really brought Mabel out her zone too after a string of her last hits all sounding the same but it just didn’t happen.

I suppose if you're not a fan of Mabel then it's not gonna win you over! I know I did initially want something different from Mabel but I was drawn in by CB's knack to craft a pop song. Just took a look at the lyrics and they are very generic, but I don't necessarily expect anything much better from some acts!

Mabel started off pretty strong for me but since Don’t Call Me Up she went downhill.

Drakes album I read is coming around the time of his birthday.

What about Drake's album? Any update? Thought it was imminent

I don't think any release date has ever been announced for it (the only vague date was him teasing another album 'in the summer' back when he announced 'Dark Lane Demo Tapes' though obviously it's been delayed since then). Likely its release date will only be confirmed a week or so before release.

I mean, if even Jax Jones couldn't manage to do it...

Next week could be Miley’s best chance with WAP going into ACR and Graham Norton!
26 new order blue Monday where that come from

Is there a campaign, or are we missing streaming? I know it’s been downloaded a lot from the Deluxe remastered version of Power, Corruption And Lies that’s just been released.

It's just another vinyl re-release. These often appear in the First Look chart, it'll fade to low top 100 if that by the end of the week (most likely dropping out entirely).

here's the OCC bit about New Order:

And finally, just outside the Top 20 is a midweek re-entry for the iconic Blue Monday by New Order (26). The 1983 album Power, Corruption & Lies from which it is taken is reissued this week along with a remastered 12" vinyl release of the signature single - could this propel it all the way to a first Official Chart Top 40 appearance in over 25 years on Friday?

The last time Blue Monday placed in the Top 40 was back in August 1995 with the version Blue Monday-95. Its highest ever placing was the 1988 version which reached Number 3. See where all New Order’s hit singles and albums charted.

I doubt even the person who wrote this believes in it

The OCC has an interest in trying to make things like this seem more likely than they actually are I guess ~

early Mids article on the OCC site on positions 21-40:

Shawn Mendes is heading for the UK Top 40 this week, as his new single Wonder is set to make its debut on the Official Charts.

As it stands on today's sales flash (Oct. 5), Wonder is set to breakthrough at Number 21 in this week's Official Singles Chart, securing Mendes his 10th UK Top 40 single.

Also on track on Friday's singles chart at Number 27 are K-pop sirens BLACKPINK, with Lovesick Girls, taken from their debut album titled The Album.

Dua Lipa also makes gains this week, with her newest Future Nostalgia single Levitating coming in at Number 32, following the release of its new remix with DaBaby. Dua previously released a reworked version featuring Madonna and Missy Elliott.

Elsewhere, Jorja Smith could bag herself a fifth Top 40 entry with Come Over ft. Popcaan (36), and Miley Cyrus is heading for her 19th UK Top 40 single with her viral glam-rock cover of the Blondie classic Heart of Glass (38).

Melanie C is less than 400 copies behind #4, yet 1.1k ahead of #8 and 2.4k ahead of #11, so I'm hoping top 10 is looking good for her!
