October 27, 20205 yr Curious that The Vamps have ended up in this kind of position whilst 5 Seconds of Summer, a band aimed at more or less the same demographic and who launched at more or less the same time, have managed to maintain their fanbase and can still pull in decently sized hits and strong selling albums. I'd say 5SOS's sound evolved more and I do like them as a band but The Vamps haven't exactly stayed the same either, though maybe the change came too little too late. Still, I feel like for them all that mattered was getting the #1 from the core fanbase that remains and will likely now always remain. If Young Blood didn’t take off the way it did, 5SOS probably would be in the same position as the vamps are career wise. Bands like that need hits to keep momentum and interest going. The Vamps haven’t had a hit in ages so were always going to struggle long term. Shame as I am loving Married In Vegas right now.

October 27, 20205 yr Hoping LM stays stable until Friday! Hopefully playlisting gets better on Spotify and AM too as right now it's a mess. Airplay should help too once it kicks in properly.
October 27, 20205 yr Amazed BMTH have held stable since Monday. Third top 40 of the year might be a possibility?
October 27, 20205 yr Amazed BMTH have held stable since Monday. Third top 40 of the year might be a possibility? Quite hoping the Babymetal collab is pushed next week with the EP release, the fan reaction to the leak has been insane! (And will bring some deathcore to the chart show )
October 27, 20205 yr Ariana extending her lead a bit more at #1 *.* excited to see what the album can do next week as there will be some physical formats available too.
October 27, 20205 yr Those physicals should give her quite a boost! What did Arianas last albums sell on week one in terms of just physical copies.
October 27, 20205 yr oh very good update for Bruce and Gorillaz not so much for Faithless :/ and Blossoms didn't sell anything?
October 27, 20205 yr That's a really steady increase for Gorillaz there, much more than I was expecting
October 27, 20205 yr I'm assuming Gorillaz must have had some significant sales missing from the last update, I can't imagine they would have actually sold 3.8k yesterday! Whatever the reason though great to see them getting this huge update, looks like they should definitely get over 15k after all and will for sure be secure at #2. Bruce might not beat Gaga's opening after all. Was anyone expecting him to? He didn't even beat her Monday midweek numbers, and pretty sure his last album had lower opening sales than 'Chromatica' as well.
October 27, 20205 yr Do you know where dula peep is? Who is Dula Peep when they are not at home :(
