November 10, 20205 yr Ooh my first post in this thread (purposefully avoided as I knew it'd be hell :') lmao) I think it's Kylie's to lose for sure now. I can't see LM over taking, however, *IF* they do, unless KM manages to get a flash sale on (and sell her albums for £5 or something), I can't see KM re-overtaking... but sales are a lot closer than I expected. I honestly expected Kylie to be way ahead. But I've been seeing a lot of comments saying that not one, but BOTH will have huge drops next week? Are you all serious? :lol: I can see them both staying top 10 and close to (if not in) the top 5.
November 10, 20205 yr The LM vinyl is out of stock too so the benefit would go to Kylie of course both have CDs etc too on there. HMV have an offer of buy the vinyl and get the CD for £5, not sure that will add many sales though tbh? Does that count as 2 sales if it’s on the same receipt?

I can see all of the above going ahead of LM and Kylie Plus you will still have Sam Smith, Ariana, Bruce and Cliff going strong etc
November 10, 20205 yr I mean Sam & Ariana are both scraping low sales into their second weeks, and I believe LM & Kylie still have promo planned into next week. I definitely don’t think they’ll be leaving the Top 10 for a few weeks at least.

November 10, 20205 yr Does that count as 2 sales if it’s on the same receipt? Yes - not sure where this ‘receipt’ notion comes from, that proved null by the fact that bundles get get counted as separate sales
November 10, 20205 yr The way I see this, Kylie may be technically ahead but she’s behind when you consider that Little Mix are going to have about another 7k from streaming built in for the week vs probably 2k for Kylie. Even with the 2.2k advantage she currently has, she’ll need to sell around 3k more than Little Mix to get it over the next few days. I mean it’s possible, but I think Little Mix are very much the favourites at the moment.
