Quite impressive that it has continued to hold onto both of the top 2 for so long, and still pretty comfortably as well! Still rising quickly on streaming so I think this is gonna be sticking around for a while.

I feel like 'Wellerman' is kinda the new 'Harlem Shake' tbh.

No! :( I was hoping that the Wellerman song wouldn't be staying round in the charts for that long and that TikTok users will move on to spamming another sea shanty in their videos, preferably one which isn't acapella this time (although the remix I like a bit more than the original).

It being acapella has been the main reason the sea shanty TikToks have taken off, people add their own vocals to it to create the bass etc.

I feel like 'Wellerman' is kinda the new 'Harlem Shake' tbh.

 

I think Wellerman is more like the new "Old Town Road", mixing styles. It wouldn't surprise me to it #1 soon everywhere.

Must have done, thanks for pointing out! I didn't post the lists on Saturday and Sunday so when I saw they were the Top 2 on Monday I probably just thought they were the same way round.
