Finishing in bronze position is James Morrison and Nelly Furtado with their 2008 hook-up 'Broken Strings'. The single first charted in the final weeks of 2008 and by the beginning of the new year it had soared into the top 2 - prevented from bagging a first and third number one for James and Nelly respectively by none other than Lady Gaga's debut single 'Just Dance'. The song still easily became James' highest-charting single - his previous best was 2006's #5 hit 'You Give Me Something' - and became one of Nelly's biggest also. The song is a bit of a bore to be honest. I can't say I've ever chosen to listen to it through choice. I don't know what exactly made it so big besides Nelly's presence.

Now it has come down to DJ Sammy vs The Kooks - perhaps the most surprising final two so far. Vote for your favourite. :teresa:

Heaven to win! It is the only song from this batch that I actively really like.

'Naive' for me although I do prefer SMIHOW out of their two big hits from that year! 'Heaven' is a classic too tho so won't be upset with that likely winning either.

I do really enjoy Heaven but I had to go with Naive. Takes me back to such a special time in my life.
I really like both songs, but Naive is my favorite. :D
Kooks to win. It’s not a massive fave of mine but I’ve listened to both and it’s better than I remember
neither of those are huge faves, but I like them. Kooks is the preferred to win. Broken Strings is a great song, prob appeals to an older crowd as it's a staple of Radio 2-styled radio and the other two...aren't.
