This is really good! I'm not really sure what people were expecting? I think there are some unfair high expectations of her just due to how big and sensational 'drivers license' was.

I dunno, I just don’t really like her singing style on this, it’s an issue I have with a few current singers and an issue I had with DL in parts though that eventually won me over.

Oh I really hate her voice.

Since when does a mumbling, miserable, whoa is me tone, equal emotion in a song.

Yeah it's pretty remarkable that Billboard has turned into how the UK Charts used to be and the UK Charts now have as slow a turnover at the top as Billboard used to have!

It's #5 on spotify now (new peak). Albeit only #32 on Apple Music and #53 on iTunes. If it keeps climbing on spotify like it has then it should rise into the top 20 at least.

 

I'm really enjoying this. I can see it being a big hit over the spring/summer. Perhaps even a top 5 hit!

Just checked this out and surprised this hasn't had a better reception on here. I'm finding it more instant than "drivers license" and really love the lyrics, I was sold as soon as she mentioned re-runs of Glee :heehee:
