June 6, 20214 yr I think Belgium will get 9 points and top the group, Denmark will be 2nd and Russia will be 3rd.
June 7, 20214 yr Belgium I like are most nailed on for 9/9 points of any teams. Mind you Denmark can always frustrate like when they held eventual champions France to a goalless draw in the 2018 WC.

June 8, 20214 yr Belgium and Denmark easily, the other two don't stand much of a chance in this group. Belgium, is this their time? Time to finally have a trophy to go along with all the accolades from pundits, lofty FIFA rankings, and dominating results of the past five or so years? They still have the same scary-squad that could beat any team in this tournament 4-0 (or more) on their best day. Denmark are coming too and certainly won't back down from anyone. Finland is a mystery really, sometimes they show they can punch above their weight and other times they look like a minnow. Russia hasn't been the same in recent years. June 8, 20214 yr As much as I'd love to see Finland cause an upset I agree that Belgium will quite comfortably take this group.
June 8, 20214 yr Stranger things have happened. They have a better side than 1992 and have seen them play a lot Over the past five years in Dublin, we always seem to get them. They have an excellent side though as I said lack a prolific goal scorer!
June 12, 20214 yr I assume Finland will be mostly defending vs Denmark and they could make it difficult for Denmark in the first half especially. I have always liked the way Russia play a lot of fast attacking football but I think they will get caught on the break by Belgium.

June 12, 20214 yr All three matches played so far have been/look like they'll be goaless at half time. It could be due to nerves, I would be surprised if Belgium don't score in the first half against Russia tonight.

Often the case in international tournaments, the games are gagey as they're must not lose especially in the first couple of rounds. And plus it's much easier to coach defensive patterns rather than attacking patterns, hence why most teams set up to be cagey.
