I've contributed 6 sales towards Queen's quest for number 1 this week. Hopefully they can keep ahead of Olivia.

It is in the top 5 on US Spotify tbf, just obviously doesn't have any radio play which holds it back a lot on the Hot 100.

I mean technically yes but it's right near the bottom so I don't think that is helping it that much. She still has all but one of her album tracks in the top 50 on Spotify (and the last one is still top 100), there are clearly still a lot of people regularly streaming the entire album.

How is Three Lions still at 8?

 

On Apple / Spotify etc it was down to 30ish on both and as it’s on ACR surely it would be a lot lower?

 

 

It’s a shame tomorrow’s actual streams won’t count - will that go against the football songs do we think?

I’m not a U.K. urban fan at all but do like a few of their songs like ‘iamspamspamamikings’, ‘UFO’ and ‘Ferrari Horses’. Don’t think they’re THAT bad

Thanks - lol that is the most RANDOM thing ever. Let’s hope I don’t talk about certain UB40 or Martika singles anytime soon. That ,it’s have caused chaos when that D Block Europe single was charting.

Yeh if they win on Sunday it’ll do huge figures for the rest of the week and be number one with ease!

If we win on Sunday it will be totally unprecedented (in chart terms at least, as far as I know there wasn't a popular football single on the go in 1966). That would surely carry Three Lions back to #1 despite the odds against it. Wouldn't even rule out another football related song making the Top 10 if that were the case but we've Italy to beat first!

On the contrary I would say it screams single. It’s not too far removed from Driver’s licence plus I think it is quite relatable.

 

Really hoping Maneskin can hold onto that #4 position though I know that is unlikely with three lions due to a big surge in sales today.
