July 5, 20214 yr As England’s football team continues to progress in Euro 2020, Three Lions is rising up the singles chart thanks to a surge in streaming numnbers. A total of 2,671,469 streams across audio and video, coupled with 2,208 downloads mean the track - which was first released in 1996 - is at No.6, with Sunday’s streaming data yet to be counted. With England’s semi-final with Denmark approaching, the track could rise and rise this week. Elsewhere, Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits (36,180 sales) is at No.1, ahead of Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U (23,110 sales), Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix’s Heartbreak Anthem (13,380 sales), The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears (12,719 sales) and Maneskin’s I Wanna Be Your Slave (12,372 sales) complete the Top 5. In the albums chart, Queen’s Greatest Hits could be in line for its first No.1 finish in 40 years, as a new anniversary edition is released. With 10,155 sales for the week so far, it is out in front of Olivia Rodrigo’s Sour (5,718 sales) and Jack Savoretti’s Europania (2,624 sales). July 5, 20214 yr Author Full update w/ sales on the previous page (and on page 1)! -x- Roundup of Trifoski acts smashing this week's chart: Ψ Jehnny Beth of Savages at 4 Ψ Snapped Ankles at 18 Ψ The Go Team at 21 THE TRUE TASTEMAKERS
July 5, 20214 yr OMG at Snapped Ankles! :o obviously won't stay in the Top 40 but I didn't expect them to show up anywhere in the midweeks, great for The Go! Team as well! I suspect The Go! Team will be out of the top forty by Friday :( A pity as it's a good album.
July 5, 20214 yr Aw Måneskin knocked back down to #5, hopefully they might have a chance of re-peaking next week as the video is confirmed to be dropping "soon"
July 5, 20214 yr Very curious to see Marina's album back in the Top 40 midweeks. The climb last week was a big increase in physicals. Her first three weeks: 01. 18/06/21 - #17 - 3,412 sales [1,306 Physicals | 1,224 Streaming | 882 Downloads] (I don't know the CDs vs Cassettes for this week) 02. 25/06/21 - #155 - 979 sales [332 Physicals | 560 Streaming | 87 Downloads] (326 CDs / 6 Cassettes) 03. 02/07/21 - #65 - 1,473 sales [1,040 Physicals | 371 Streaming | 62 Downloads] (523 CDs / 517 Cassettes) Total: 5,864 sales I haven't seen today's data but it looks like she's having another week of curiously high physical sales! By the way, last Monday and Tuesday (28th/29th June), Marina wasn't even in the Top 200 midweeks... yet she ended up at #65 with a surge in physical sales.
July 5, 20214 yr I know Lawson have lost a lot of popularity but that is terrible, the UK is their biggest market as well I think? I doubt they can go on much longer based on this.
July 5, 20214 yr The week 3 Lions reached #1 in 2018, it had done 34.2k in the Monday mids, so to have done less than 12.5k by now is quite a comedown - partly expected because of how much the download market has slumped since then, but unless there's more streaming data missing than usual (it had a strong day on Amazon yesterday, #1 and #4 there for most of the day), it's now hard to see it climbing much higher this week, even with a huge day to come on Wednesday regardless of the result.

Thanks for this, some interesting stats though seeing the sales themselves is quite depressing. Shame for Lawson as well, really liked the singles this era. They have made some good pop over the years, so not sure why nothing as really clicked with the general public.
July 5, 20214 yr Shame for Lawson as well, really liked the singles this era. They have made some good pop over the years, so not sure why nothing as really clicked with the general public. I'm gonna say because they don't know it exists, and probably haven't done since 2013.
July 5, 20214 yr Three lions at 6 could it actually be a contender this week No chance. If England were playing on Tuesday (and they win) then I could see more of a chance but Wednesday evening is probably too late in the week for it to get a significant boost (especially given that the Thursday streams aren't accurately represented).
July 5, 20214 yr I was expecting Jack Savoretti to be much much lower so im happy to see him so high this week.
July 5, 20214 yr Crazy low sales in album, #5 not even on 2K :( It could be a long summer, there’s usually not much released at this time of year except when the kids get out of school and think Billie is filling that slot this year.

Yeh they will get to number 2/3 at best. Wonder of Olivia will be the number one album this week?
July 5, 20214 yr A big BOO to Save Your Tears still ahead of I Wanna be Your Slave. :puke2: Also NO to 'Good S*ithout' climbing 2 places since First Look. Hopefully it won't return to the top 10 on Friday. :arrr:
July 5, 20214 yr Also NO to 'Good S*ithout' climbing 2 places since First Look. Hopefully it won't return to the top 10 on Friday. :arrr: Could we maybe try and have some level of maturity when it comes to discussing the charts?
