You would nearly think England had an extra man in the second half of extra time!

Easily said though, they got nowhere near the ball. Could also say that's why you keep one sub back too! Denmark definitely tired towards the end of 90 minutes.

Yeh that they did!

Yes they were like Spain passing the ball about loads!

My dad went to the 1966 final - it was the first football match he'd ever been to. I have a vague recollection of being aware that Dad was at a match that was shown on telly but I had no idea what it was about at the time. Therefore, I will count Sunday as the first time I have seen England play in a final.

We’re actually in a final!!!!!!

Whatever happens on Sunday Southgate is a hero. What he’s done with this England side is brilliant. First time in my life that the players all seem like they’re a team and would fight for each other until the end.

England deserved the win but that was never a penalty….

I honestly think yous are gonna win and I’m dreading it

I was only one years old in 1966 so this will be the first final I will be able to witness England playing. This is definitely the best football I've seen an England team play in a major tournament and I think they have a great chance against an Italy team that are not quite as effective as they were earlier on.
I'm just happy to be back to being the underdogs again. Italy definitely are favourites to win so we can either leave the tournament having done well or leave it having done amazingly well.

Has buzzjack just crashed due to suspiciously high levels of posting on a typically hetero subject?

England are the bookies favourites! I would say it will be a bit of a toin coss. I think if Southgate plays the same midfield they will dominate us and they have players who can score a worldie. Italy have fantastic but they have a few injuries to key players now and their 120 minutes was far more intensive than England's tonight.

The TV ratings for the final will be something else!

It genuinely could pull in the biggest TV rating of all time in the UK. 32.3m from 1966 is the number to beat and with a bigger population / wider access to TV sets since then, it could happen!

England are the bookies favourites!

Just in the UK or worldwide?

Also, what on earth is a worldie?

I wouldn't be surprised if Gareth Southgate gets an MBE if they win the final  And Harry Kane getting the Sports Personality of the Year ^_^
