I think if Southgate plays the same midfield they will dominate us and they have players who can score a worldie. Italy have fantastic but they have a few injuries to key players now and their 120 minutes was far more intensive than England's tonight. England are bound to be favourites with UK bookies simply because of the number of people putting their money on an England win. maybe Silas can tell us what the German bookies are saying.

July 8, 20214 yr Never a pen, f***ing standard England Typical Sterling, typical England :frankie: All my English friends are blocked I thought you would still be celebrating your 0-0 victory to care how England are doing now x It was a soft penalty but I couldn’t give a flying f*** in all honesty. We’ve had such bad luck and many shitty decisions go against us in past tournaments, we earned a bit of luck for a change. We played well and deserved to win anyway.

July 8, 20214 yr Urgh ffs. When it comes to football the English are the worst winners on the face of the earth. All the grace of a reversing dump truck with no tires. German odds are laid out a bit differently to what I’m used to but looks like Italy Are the slight favourites here.
July 8, 20214 yr YES! Absolutely delighted with that, won or lose now just to experience being in a major final will be incredible. Not got tickets but planning to head to Wembley area on the Sunday just to soak up the atmosphere. Extremely nervous game but unlike the Croatia semi where they were mostly on top we really had the measure of the play through most of the game. Denmark were dangerous (and superb free kick) but never felt like we weren't in control. Only dodgy sight was Pickford having his worst match so far but he's got so much credit in the bank now with his outstanding prior performances. The penalty *was* soft yes but then a) we should have had one in the second half for the foul on Kane and b) the Danish free-kick they scored from was also very soft so that's just the way it goes. Fair play to Denmark for giving us a superb game. Man, the scenes at Wembley after FT were euphoric, amazing experience for all who attended.

Ha the Kane one was clearly a foul by Kane he kicked through the Danes back leg and fell down like he had been shot 😁

The UK teams are improving now, but surely it will take some time to get to championship-winning leveld?
