August 2, 20214 yr NTK which is an album-track is doing so much better than her current official single YR. Shame YR has still fallen victim to the three track rule. Im hoping for KMM to fall victim instead
August 2, 20214 yr Shame about Bleachers :( It's a very good album (by Suedeonia's only BJSC-winning act).
August 2, 20214 yr Those numbers for Billie seem quite low, especially as it was reported she’d done 20k in presales a few weeks ago, and how she is strong on streaming. Maybe they’re holding back some of the numbers, like what they(seemingly) did with Dave last week. Edited August 2, 20214 yr by iain
August 2, 20214 yr 'Need To Know' becoming Doja's highest song, we love to see it *.* Dirty Rintintin for #1 by the end of the week ofc
August 2, 20214 yr Where's that annoying guy who kept claiming 'Need To Know' was "flopping" a few weeks ago?
August 2, 20214 yr I agree that Need to know should be made into her next single. Kiss me more is slowly fading away now it’s on ACR and need to know is showing the potential to be a big hit since it’s doing so well while only being an album track. But in all honesty I’d be surprised if she even looks at the UK charts, it will all be about the US for her and I haven’t looked but I doubt it’s doing well there. Edit: it’s at #46 in the US, but it’s behind Kiss me more which is still at #5 and You Right at #19.
August 2, 20214 yr 'Need To Know' is top 10 on US Spotify! (It is still behind 'Ain't Shit' there but it's been closing the gap, was 130k behind this time last week but only 22k behind today. Of course 'Kiss Me More' is still ahead of both of them though and is still miles ahead on the Hot 100 due to airplay and the nonexistence of an ACR-esque rule there). 'You Right' is a distant 4th among her songs on US Spotify, but being buoyed on the Hot 100 by having radio play as well. The label-chosen singles are harder to overcome there because of airplay being included, but it's still clear that 'Need To Know' and 'Ain't Shit' are both more organically popular than 'You Right'.
August 2, 20214 yr they're more popular cos they're on tiktok challenges, not sure if I would call that organic
August 2, 20214 yr You know what I mean xx (I forgot to add my usual 'TikTok astroturfing yada yada' disclaimer, must not do that again)
August 2, 20214 yr In fairness, charting due to TikTok is still more organic than charting due to radio imo
August 2, 20214 yr Anne Marie's album is holding up far better than I expected, I thought it was going to plummet this week.
August 3, 20214 yr Not a bad drop for LM AM thought it might of done a holiday big drop second week then jump back up
August 3, 20214 yr Anne Marie's album is holding up far better than I expected, I thought it was going to plummet this week. I didnt expect it to completely plummet but thought it may have a fairly big drop so ya its great to see it holding up much better.
August 3, 20214 yr So we've had Free 22 & now Lake 29 from D-Block Europe. Next up something 36 then.
August 3, 20214 yr So we've had Free 22 & now Lake 29 from D-Block Europe. Next up something 36 then. I was rather hoping it'd be 4'33", their rendition of the John Cage number.
