August 16, 20213 yr I genuinely HATED that Shawn song I’ve seen him live so I am definitely a fan but GOD was his voice whiny on that track! I wasn’t expecting a Gaga win for this round if I’m honest- I actually thought Sugababes would lead the pack as I remember Ace Reject winning a Sugababes discography rate on Popjustice- it even bought all of their singles!
August 17, 20213 yr Surprised by Little Mix and Sugababes. Wish Steps did better, can help but think Paradise Lost would’ve done better. Oh well.

August 17, 20213 yr Commenting on the forums I’m a mod for! For a time during the vote counting, Spice Girls were in the lead… which is why I was a bit dismayed by the vote drought towards the end Still, joint 5th is great & was definitely needed after 14th place in Round 1! That was also an improvement on how the song did in AF 2.0, if I remember rightly it came 8th last time. Really pleased that Girls Aloud are Top 5 as well! The ultimate “song that should have been a single”, I’ll never know how they overlooked this in favour of Beautiful Cause You Love Me… ladies!! It’s been interesting to follow how Britney Spears does so far, because we’ve definitely started out with two choices that are not very obvious picks! 13th and 12th… reasonable, but we’re certainly not looking overly safe for a Top 12 finish at this stage. Still happy we went with these songs though. Not great for Rita Ora but I can’t complain because I didn’t find room for her in my votes! I like the song and I’m glad quite a few of you did too! Disappointed for Steps but it is what it is, it’s a very strong playing field… let’s see how we fare with some of their classics in the next few rounds. Shawn Mendes… :( … that’s all I’ll say! :lol: ~~~~ Congrats to Lady Gaga forum for coming out on top! The power of Chromatica :cheeseblock: Also fantastic to see Little Mix in runner up, that’s one of the gems in their discography for me.
