Why isn't Robbie a collector's item? Sure he has his fanbase, I think it's more to do with the label not fully pushing and promoting it

Lowkey hyperventilating at work trying to keep my shit together

It’ll be front loaded as hell with all the pre-orders but if it could cling on for fear life and get a new peak that would be mega, a top 10 would be just a dream

I cannot believe this :w00t:

Ooooh, it'll be amazing if a new peak is possible. I imagine it'll sell pretty much zero for the rest of the week though?

Probably, yes. This is going to very front-loaded and won't do much on streaming. Hopefully the press will give it some attention now it's top 10. The promo has been minimal as well, so basically every position in the top 40 is going to be major.

Surprised but not surprised considering they printed 2500 copies of the Overload single that comes with some of the packages and it's been sold out. I was just unsure how many of those sales went to the UK charts.

Hope it can peak higher than 26. That would be goals.

The label can drop the prices a bit on the official store to attract more sales

Everything is pretty expensive right now (10.50 for the cassette!)

They should totally announce some instore show

They would definitely be top 10 then

I’m not sure the label really cares about the sales/chart performance. Which is ironic given that London dropped them for low sales back in 2001

Ive maintained this was more of an elaborate bit of PR than anything. Seeing what chart power they natively still had and experimenting with formats and merch for a proper album campaign.

From Simon Boyle's Bizarre column

"Elton John and Dua Lipa are threatening to end Ed Sheeran's all-conquering 14-week reign at No.1 in the singles chart.

The pair's collaboration Cold Heart is currently at No.2 and just 2,500 sales behind Ed's tune Shivers, which has spent the past three weeks at the top. Before that, his track Bad Habits held the top spot.

Elsewhere in the midweek chart update, Glass Animals song Heat Waves has risen to No.5 while Billie Eilish's track Happier Than Ever has leapt to No.9.

It also looks like British dance star Becky Hill will reach new heights with her single My Heart Goes (La Di Da) with Topic, which is up three places to No.14."

Delighted for thr Script, i hope they have enough of a lead to secure number 1, thats a great start for Sugababes, i know it will fall off but they could do top 20 and hopefully stay top 25 for a new peak.

eek would have expected headie one to perform better

Surprised that The Script are #1 too tbh
