This week, the queens face a design challenge as they must create TWO camping inspired looks, with guest judge Nicola Coughlan.

Iirc Krystal can't sew so hopefully she doesn't win a third  Come thru Charity fingers crossed, Choriza winning would also be great.

I think Krystal could do anything and not be great at it and Ru would lap it up - as shown last week.

Be interesting to see if Victoria goes through injury, if there is an elimination at all

I wonder who the sewers are in the cast! I feel like Charity is make or break for me this episode, if it turns out she can't sew she'll annoy me.

Slightly worried for Veronica Green after her effort last season wasn't much better than Tia Kofi's and they'll judge her harshly if she hasn't improved since then.

I hope Vanity, River and Choriza do well as my OT3 for this season!

I don’t know how Kitty avoided the bottom 3 in that episode, lucky escape !

Scarlett probably was the right winner and Ella a close second, I think Charity should have been top 3 though or even River over Krystal.

Vanity’s was definitely the worst and Chorizas wasn’t great (even though I love her) Veronica I’d have probably had safe tbh so was a shame to see her go, wish it was a double save !

That judging was.... shite. Ella got called out as having a second rate version of Scarlett's look but is in the top?! Krystal was told she is predictable and just re-treaded one of Aquaria's S10 Ball looks ("no queen has done this" my arse) but is in the top?! To me, again being cynical as I often am, this felt like they are trying to give Krystal an up and down journey, and they felt that Ella needs a high to start pushing her.

Charity I thought deserved the win if you look at both looks and take them as an average, otherwise what is the point of the first look? Scarlett easily had the best of the second bunch of looks, but her first was middle of the pack. Charity being just safe is absolutely baffling, I feel like Ru and Michelle aren't keen on that type of drag and have just cast her aside. Ella's looks were solid but I wouldn't have put her top, and there's something really missing for me, and I agreed with Nicola I don't think the jacket was really needed on the second look, but it would feel bare and basic without it. I feel like she could be the robotically good stereotype, like she will do well at most things and probably snatch at least a couple of wins, but I don't feel like there is that spark and likeability there, I haven't seen any of it yet anyway. Krystal again was technically good, but she did the bare minimum of what you expect from her, there is no versatility or nuance to what she does. I'd have put River in the top as well, both looks were really well done, cute and very her but each had a different tinge to it. Honestly if Krystal or Gigi Goode came out wearing that second look, that would have been a win  I'm impressed by River, she was swamped by Tia comparisons so I worried for her fashion, but her runways have impressed me this week and last.

On the other end of the spectrum, I am FAR from a Veronica Green fan, but I think they over-egged the critique of her looks. The first one was fine, you could see that was a sleeping bag and she looked kinda roughed up, knowing that it's a camping challenge you could easily assume the story she was going for, I agree she could have added bits to make it clearer but there was nothing wrong with that look. Her second look was too grandiose in its vision especially when she used up too much time helping everyone else, but at least she had an idea and attacked it. I feel kind of bad for her, especially when she was not the worst and I don't feel she deserved to be in the bottom. Choriza low I kind of got, not terrible but definitely on the lower end. Veronica got away with far worse week 1 and was safe then so I think she should have been safe here, however she was lucky to survive week 1 imo so I guess it balances out in the end.

Kitty escaping at least a low placement for that second outfit is giving me Baga in the Posh On A Penny challenge vibes. Vanity just didn't really listen to the challenge, I thought she was really unlikeable when they went backstage too "I thought it was couture you can get Scarlett's off the rack" when hers was simply not constructed well. To me, it feels as if she knows she can kill a lipsync and isn't putting as much into the challenges. It's great she can kill a lipsync as she does, but that's not all that Drag Race is.

WIN: Charity

High: Scarlett, River

Low: Choriza

Bottom 2: Kitty, Vanity

I'm just not 100% feeling this season tbh :( I'm not rooting for many of them, and the ones I am (Charity, River and Choriza) are being paid dust, mostly. I like Scarlett, the rest I am either on the fence on, get not a lot from or just can't take to...

Kitty - she feels almost robotically like a "perfect" Drag Race UK queen, meticulously crafted for the Twitter gays right down to her references and whilst she is likeable enough, I am just not fully buying into her yet.

Ella - as I said, no spark or oomph just yet, she barely stood out the first two episodes and then this one she just did "good" and no more for me.

Vanity - I'm just not warming to her at all.

Krysta - like Kitty, robitc and meticulously crafted but in a different way, and just plain unlikeabe based on what we've seen so far.

I also feel bad for Veronica, whilst I am not a fan of her drag and I feel like she didn't really have a huge amount to give that we didn't see on S2, I can't imagine having to go straight into a second season (given how soon they filmed S3 after S2) in an environment where she wasn't able to work and make money to go on the next season. If you think of all the designers they have to pay, the ideas they have to come up with, and Veronica probably put her all into S2 and lost her shot because of something she couldn't control. In a way, I feel like she would have been better off not coming back and doing All Stars in the future with a second chance storyline, but then she would probably be way out of her depth amongst queens like say Bimini, Tayce, Divina, and the tops of this season.

100% with you on Kitty and Ella. They are self-producing hard and I don't feel comfortable with it. I can't tell what Scarlett's game is either. We seem to hardly see her and then she blends into the background.

I am worried for this season because the judges don't seem to be enjoying any of the queens we fans are (Choriza, River, Charity). Although I can still see Charity going on a Jinkx/Sh*ron arc and coming out on top.

What I will say for her this episode is, while her looks were good, what on earth does a psycho rabbit have to do with camping? It wasn't on-theme.

I would have given this win to Ella, I guess. None of them blew me away. I thought Krystal was near the top of the pack just because the average was low. Critiquing Choriza for using a blanket but giving Scarlett the win for the same was just stupid.

So bored of Krystal and how much she is being pushed. There is literally no likeable personality there and her looks are just boring.

Loved Scarlett’s look though… Vanity calling her out was laughable.

Still loving River.

Kitty is just coming across as forced and robotic to me… and I did feel Bad for Veronica, especially given she have so much of her time to help others.

Charity being just safe is absolutely baffling, I feel like Ru and Michelle aren't keen on that type of drag and have just cast her aside.

I think this hits the nail on the head with their judging regarding Charity. I was honestly shocked when Ru told her to step forward and called her out as safe. I thought she was going to at least be top, if not win!

The episode was really good overall, I enjoyed all the workroom bits and loved the bit between Kitty & Charity about Charity's HIV status and the stigma around it.

I thought the judging was really off this episode though. I was surprised to see Ella in the top and even Kyrstal to a certain extent. I thought the top woud be Scarlett, Charity and River. I'm glad Scarlett won.

Shocked to see Kitty safe as well. I thought she would be bottom over Choriza.

So sad to see how things turnt out for Veronica. If she just focused on herself/her own outfit I think she would've ended up safe. They went in so hard on her first outfit... It was so obvious what it was/who she was trying to be. Like damn. Sure she could've improved it more, but it was fine.

Vanity missed the mark again and her remark to Scarlett was uncalled for.

Honestly, I thought Veronica did pretty well in the lip sync despite her outfit. I don't think Vanity did much better.

Sad to see Veronica go so early. Particualrly sad considering it's likely due to the fact she spent time helping others than helping herself. :(

This was actually the first week I thought Krystal should have won and now they're telling her they want more?!

Surely a double stantay was warranted, especially with Victoria leaving us. I was sad to see Veronica go.

This season has been trash so far.

I mean she was doing pretty well against them on season 2! I hope Veronica gets an All Stars chance in the future. I think having time to continue to improve her drag and also to properly prepare she would do really well on an All Stars.

ultimately i think the middling looks were judged weirdly as everyone had ups and downs, but the tops and bottoms were right.

veronica’s second look was a DISASTER and scarlett looked beautiful in both looks so i think we had the right result both ways tbh. krystal also oooked amazing in her second look and fully deserved high critiques… i don’t understand why the judges are turning on her so suddenly lol.

i would have had

WIN scarlet

HIGH charity, krystal

LOW kitty

BTM vanity, veronica

was convinced it was gonna be a double save when vanity was announced first and with victoria having gone !! kind of a gag that veronica has gone so soon, but not much of a loss to me overall.

i’m also assuming they’re gonna bring victoria back later this season.

This was actually the first week I thought Krystal should have won and now they're telling her they want more?!

I agree with them that her outfits are predictable but what I found odd about them is that they lapped up everything she did two weeks in a row when she didn't deserve it, so really in a way I can't blame Krystal for carrying on as she was!

In a way its beneficial to her that they did that though, because she is still in the top and praised, but she is being reminded where she needs to go. It sets her up for a storyline/journey.

I echo some of the comments in here; always very surprised to not see Charity in the top. Her second outfit, especially, was very well made and I loved the overall look. I feel it really comes down to Ru and Michelle not being a big fan of her kind of drag.

Scarlett's second outfit was good, well-made, but, dare I say, a bit boring as well? Wasn't that impressed with Ella's either and whilst Krystal looked good- it was predictable and very Aquaria/GaGa Fame- era esque. Whilst I love the cast as personalities, I really feel like their level of drag isn't anywhere close near the quality we got last year.

Veronica was eaily the worst this episode though, that second outfit. Yikes! I do feel sorry for her, as she seems like a nice and kind person and after S2 and the stress of the pandemic, it probably wasn't the best decision to come back. But it was definitely her time to go, then again, I never liked her on S2 either.

LOVED Nicola though, such a perfect guest judge.

LOVED Nicola though, such a perfect guest judge.

Agreed. A lot of the times during the runways the guests say nothing. She was great, funny, gave advice and just came across so well

Something feels so off this season — what is it? The judging?

Yeah it does feel off... I don't think Victoria leaving through injury is going to help anything as she was a front runner really, had personality and was so likeable.

However the Queens which seemed to pushed (well... Krystal) just aren't likeable, or have a likeable personality you want to root for. You can tell they're going with a Biolet angle with Krystal... but Violet's runways were 1000 times better and she actually did have a personality. Saying that Scarlett winning was great this week... but Krystal top 2 (again) - get over it Ru!

The judging seems to be slightly off; Whilst I don't disagree with the Queens that have gone (well barring Anubis), the top end has been very, very questionable as have the queens deemed 'safe'. Also the challenges have been a bit meh - especially last weeks car crash. It just feels very uneven as Series' go.

Basically you know the Queens which are likeable (Scarlett aside) and you want to do well are going to go soon, as you can see Ru and Michelle aren't into their style of Drag, or are extra harsh on them.

It doesn't feel as genuine for me this season. Kitty is trying to be Baga Mk 2, a lot of the white girls are blending together for me,and they keep not giving Choriza or River props on the runway/challenges when they're the best confessional queens.
