May 9, 20223 yr I honestly do not see the appeal of this I completely agree, I don’t get it. His voice is irritating with the over use of vibrato and the song is dull.

May 10, 20223 yr That's a good sign! I'm convinced this will be a decent sized hit in Europe, however it does on Saturday. It's clearly one of the most commercial and radio friendly songs this year.
May 10, 20223 yr I sometimes wish we didn't automatically qualify for the final, a lot of songs get hype due to it being performed throughout the week and it's easier to grow to love that tbh especially with youtube uploads etc

Only Jade, Blue, and possibly Molly and Lucie would have made the final in the last 15 years, however I doubt we'd have ever sent stuff like Storm, Bigger Than Us, Still In Love With You etc if we knew that our place in the final wasn't guaranteed.

May 12, 20223 yr If we can just end up on the left hand side of the board by the end of the night, that will be a victory for us. Anything further up, great. Staging looks nice but a bit basic to me. Looking forward to seeing the full set as intended as hopefully they have some tricks up their sleeves.

I'm fully expecting second with the juries (could be first, depends if juries give Ukraine the same landslide that I suspect they'll get from the televote [Note: this is in NO WAY a bad thing, this is the one year I actively condone "political" voting... Which I really do not think is usually a thing for the vast majority of voters anyway... Plus, the song is not that dissimilar to 'SHUM' last year, and that did really well anyway, so I think it's likely 'Stefania' would have done well regardless in a weaker year]). It may take a slight battering with the televote (do televoters tend to skew more to "bangers"?), but I'm hoping for Top 10/5, at least... Meaning hopefully at Top 5/3 should be on lock?

I think 6th-7th is realistic Lucie was really screwed over by the public vote, as were Blue to an extent (didn’t they finish above Jedward on the jury vote but fell down the order with the public vote included)

May 13, 20223 yr #78 in today's chart and that's with over 24 hours before the contest. Rich brought up with me that the last UK entry to chart before Eurovision was Molly in 2014. However we've sent mostly crap since her tbh. The live rehearsal the other day sounded great. Liking the way they switched up the ending with the guitar part.
