I always forget how much her voice adds to any song because this could really be... an Ava Max song for example, but she's got such a CHARACTER-FULL (not a word but hey) voice that really gives the song a bigger sense of personality.

Agreed — the song itself is basic and has been done countless times before but she really does have one of those perfect pop voices. Her vocals in general are massively underrated.

January 6, 20223 yr It’s definitely got off to a decent start for a total lack of support which suggests it’s going down quite well! Will keep my fingers crossed this can even just claim a top 40 over time tbh.
January 6, 20223 yr Yeah this is definitely a grower. And if nothing else the visuals around this release are MILES ahead of anything she's put her name to since the Prism era. This truly feels like a return to form for her.
January 6, 20223 yr Its better than I was expecting, I mean for Alesso its not as good as 'Under Control' or 'If I Lose Myself' which were great, but this is good, Katy sounds good on a dance record again as she did with 'Swish Swish', and if it boosts the popularity of EDM again in America it is also good!
