Yes, Mel & Kim's FLM is certified Platinum. Respectable is Gold and Showing Out (Get Fresh at the Weekend) is Silver. Pepsi & Shirlie's Heartache is Silver.

 

I think the issue with those acts are that they're pre-1994 and OCC tracking the sales, so automatic certifications won't happen for them based on pre-1994 sales. I'd assume Bananarama would have a lot more certified singles if they counted the sales from the 80s.

I think they're in an odd position because they kind of got outshined by Spice Girls as "the" British girl group of the 90s, but at the same time also got ignored as a talented female R&B group in favour of En Vogue. So they end up getting lost in the shuffle.

I'm pretty surprised that Venus hasn't dragged itself to Silver in the digital/streaming era to be honest. I wonder how far off their singles are from certifications.

 

Though I think it's worth to remember that tracks pre-1994 had to start from zero in the digital age...
