Now that they have broken the record for most consecutive Xmas number 1s, do you think Mark and Roxanne will realise it is a case of mission accomplished let's give someone else a chance next year or do you think they will be persuaded to try five in the spin next year? Wouldn't be surprised if it was the latter.

I pray they don’t! I’m sure they’re fortunate enough to make a donation to as many food banks in the UK as they like with what they have in the bank anyways it’s less about raising money and more about raising profile. Plus they support the reason food banks exists as well they really are a heinous pair!

It’s hard to think what else could stop them though it would have to be a massive undeniable hit what’s too ahead on streams or another charity track by someone else. We shall see here’s hoping they stop at 4 though but it depends if someone reaches out to them Ed’s had his go so anyone else doing that will just look more of a desperate soul than what he did but I could low key see Lewis Capaldi trying it out

I think they will but I hope they don’t, they’ve done their bit for charity and got the record, time to let someone else have a go.
I feel like Ed Sheeran's involvement influenced them trying again this year, I mean they've got no reason to stop so you never know, but I think they'll eventually have some self-awareness that the joke may have gotten old. Depends if they want to overtake the all time record or not x
I might be able to get behind it if that narcissistic parasite Sheeran isn’t involved.
I feel like they will just to beat the Beatles record of most christmas #1's, but I hope that if they do go for a fifth it is the final one they do.
Of course they bloody will! Now they've established a monopoly on Christmas they won't let us exist in peace.

Unless there is some campaign to get The Beatles another Christmas #1.. He probably will.
Yes, for all their amateur dramatic whinging about a "backlash" the sales from this year show that they will get another easy #1 next year and they will get all the attention again for breaking the Beatles record outright. Enough people will continue to make a charity donation disguised as a purchase of music, Lorraine Kelly will coo over it as they get their moment on breakfast TV, a 1-84-OUT chart run will follow and the Christmas charts will continue to be a joke.

I really hope not but expect they will come back again

The record, held by 2 heavy weights, has already gone and I really hope they are ripped apart in years to come for what they have done…..

Is that not a bit dramatic?

Of course he will.

I suspect every year there will be a new A-Lister jumping on the track to keep things 'fresh' while they continue to whore out the name of charity and poverty for social media likes and ways to get advertisement deals for the family. Sigh.

Sure they will try again, until people get tired of them

Or another campaign comes along

I just hope England win the World Cup so Three Lions can be the Xmas #1 next year!

Yesssss! Or Southgate You're The One....

Probably just to beat the all time record now, they surely know they would do it if they put out a 5th song and such temptation would be too strong to resist.
