TMB won't make it this time either I reckon. It's down to #28 on Spotify.

I hope it can still peak higher than before, even if that's not in the top 10!

First time hearing this, it's really lovely! Wonder if it's far from #1, I expect it probably isn't.
I don't think she will quite be an Olivia success but still amazing to most likely get a Top 5 debut when she is unsigned for her first single!
Pleasantly surprised to see Gayle at #1! Interested to see if she can maintain it but I do think Adele will probably beat her to it just about. Can't remember the last time we had an all female solo Top 3 however! Think maybe Halsey/Ava Max/Ariana? But I can't remember
I really don’t get the appeal of the Gayle track, aside from the ‘novelty’ of having fu in the title.
17 year old rising pop star Gayle is currently battling with Adele for dominance on the Official Singles Chart this Friday, as abcdefu and Easy On Me enter a two-way race for Number 1. Currently, less than 1,000 chart sales separate the tracks in our First Look Update, with Gayle leading the pack.

Abcdefu would be Gayle’s first-ever UK Number 1 single, while Easy On Me is challenging for a ninth non-consecutive week at Number 1, which would extend its record as Adele’s longest-running UK Number 1 single. Find out more about Gayle and her viral hit here.

Meanwhile, you may not recognise the name Lauren Spencer-Smith, but the 18 year old former American Idol contestant has set TikTok and social media alight with her new breakup anthem. Fingers Crossed is currently tracking to rise to Number 3 this Friday, it would be Lauren Spencer-Smith’s first-ever UK Top 10 chart entry.

Last week saw The Weeknd unveil his new album Dawn FM in a semi-surprise drop, and three of its tracks are eyeing up entries in the Top 20 following its release. Leading the charge is new single Sacrifice, which looks set to be the chart’s highest new entry at Number 6, while lead single Take My Breath could break back into the Top 10 at Number 7 and Swedish House Mafia collaboration How Do I Make You Love Me? Could debut at Number 15.

Finally, Lost Frequencies and Calum Scott’s slow-burning hit Where Are You Now? Continues its recent upwards trajectory in the Top 40 - it’s currently set to vault up four places to a new peak of Number 19 and break into the Top 20 for the first time since its release last year.

What the hell is a "semi-surprise drop"

We've known for a while that he was working on an album called 'The Dawn' (or 'Dawn FM' as it ended up being) but the actual confirmation of the tracklist and release date was very short notice. Then again this does apply to quite a lot of album cycles probably lol

I had kind of counted out GAYLE now so a pleasant surprise to see her at #1 here, it's a pretty good song imo and would have been a shame if it was lumbered with a #2 peak because of a questionable reset decision so I would like to see her hang onto that. Fingers crossed for a new peak for 'Take My Breath' preferably in the top 10 as well, and 'Sacrifice' to hang onto the top 10 also pls. Hard to tell how they'll hold up considering he hasn't held up that well on Spotify but then again he's been doing awfully on Amazon so that doesn't help his First Look positions. Would be very happy with 'How Do I Make You Love Me?' remaining as his third highest song, the true dream would be for that to chart this week and then 'Less Than Zero' to overtake next week x
