Oooh two anniversary entries winning in a row! Didn’t think Jupiterdonia would but I said they could be a dark horse :o really surprising set of results overall!

I thought that would be the winner, it was definitely picking up way more points than I was getting, I thought it would be a bigger margin if anything.

A good winner, although I didn't vote for it it has been in my head a lot - very catchy!

Delighted with 4th place and to get so many high scores, thanks to everyone who voted for Ibibio Sound Machine  A 3rd would have been nice as I'd not finished there before but I'll take anywhere in the top 10 they're so rare!

Oh wow congrats Jupiter - anniversary entries paying off in a big way two months in a row :o didn't vote for the winner but it wasn't far off being a commiseration. Actually I snubbed both of the top 2 but elsewhere in the top 10 I voted for quite a lot - Eastovka, Utopia, Kathaldazia, Cumulonimbia and Fljótavík

Boy Harsher missing the top 20 again -_- :nono: they deserve better!

Thanks NocheLuna for a great hosting job! I was thoroughly engaged despite being on the sidelines this time.

Shall comment properly on the rest of the results a lil bit later but wow congrats Jupiter, definitely a surprise winner there but better than most of the other contenders people had been talking about so we love to see it! (Still a 4th winner in a row that I didn't vote for oops but at least this one was a commiseration, getting closer x)

Wow, Jupiterdonia! Another anniversary entry winning - well done! It's a really good song and not a winner I'd have called at all. I hadn't heard it before so it's a nice discovery by a legend for me.

Amazing 2nd and 3rd, literal YASS at Eastovka top three, we can finally quash the trance is dead thing, it never was, the trance entries we had for a while just didn't click enough. I knew it would do better than expected but I hadn't thought this well, truly 18'ing its way into the top three. And FARC was wonderful, sounded like a winner to me even if it just fell short there.

Nice to see Zanmatony get a top ten finish too there.

A few surprises compared to the odds and predictions really but it was such a difficult one to call.

27th for mine is good - thanks for all the votes - after Gebirgsbachtürkis and The Ocean Sings To Me In Turquoise Waves also finished 27th, I'm starting to see a glass ceiling for my ambient/electronic entries emerging...

And of course thanks to NocheLuna for a great final, again full of suspense and great timing, not finishing too late but not over in a flash either!

Big fan of that top 5! Congrats to Jupiter of course with a great song, always here for Stevie Nicks and I'm looking forward to visiting Jupiterdonia next month (I might even have an entry already!) :cheer: really pleased for Synchronicity in 2nd place - that clocked in at #38 recently on my personal chart but I didn't consider entering it myself! Rose Gray has a couple of other rly good songs so maybe I'll have to get recycling at some point in the future. There's a couple of songs way too low (ESPECIALLY Kluminican Rep – Boy Harsher deserved so much more :( ) but overall pretty good results, thanks NocheLuna for hosting a great contest ^_^

NocheLuna the hosting was great!

This honestly feels so fitting to win as a throwback when Running Up that Hill is killing the charts.

Also...didn't I win in June before??

Thoroughly deserved Jupiter, I’m glad I could have helped you toward your success! ^_^

Utterly thrilled about Eastovka’s bronze medal finish! That was my 18 and so many others too, an utter joy to see after so many successive DNQ’s that weren’t deserved, I am so pleased he’s finally been recognised as a genuine contender for this competition!

And finally, as for me and my country, I am thankful for all the votes and the exciting rollercoaster final I enjoyed witnessing! I never saw my entry as a winner contender but it was in the mix for a long time which was humbling to see. Thank you for helping me achieve a final position of 7th for the first time, making it our best performing entry to date! :cheer:

Congrats Jup!!

Respectable mid tier finish for Rd‘Á and Jess. Deserves far more, it’s a fab track, but it’s higher than I was thinking it’d end up.

And thanks to our fabulous host for a great month of hard work!!

Oh well Vocoder flopped hard in the final lol... That being said thank you Kath for 18 points and other nations for pointing us a couple of points! Vocoder was kinda my second choice actually but I have something big planned that I would fully get behind!

Jupiterdonia winning is a surprise imo :o That being said it's a great anniversary entry and it does not feel dated at all. Congratulations Joops for the win! Eastovka getting third is amazing to see. Hopefully this will kickstart their successful era with trance-related bops. This track is also quite special on its own and the best thing about the track is that it manages to capture my attention through a more commonly used tonality or in another words a less thought-provoking key let's say D minor which Warsaw for example completely latched on to. Synchronicity at 2nd is another good result for FARC, and a return to form I think. Hendinia flopping is surprising actually, and Rolloland finishing at 16th is probably one that I didn't see coming since it reminds me so much of Oblivion last edition and it uses a similar formula so I don't understand why it lost so many supporters!

Thank you to NocheLuna for reliable and prompt hosting. It's been a pleasure to be in this contest. Hopefully we will have another edition soon and if you want a contest in the middle of a long break, please consider confirming in Pride III, open until 15 June at 23:59 BST! All you need to know about this spin-off is here.

I voted for all of the top 5 so that was a good result.

Well done Jupiter. I would never have predicted that a single from the mid 80s that missed the top 50 would end up winning a BJSC.

I'm pleased with 16th place for my own song, thanks to all who gave points to AtomA.

Fantastic hosting job, NocheLuna, thank you.

jeez these results were close :o congrats to Jupiter for the win and YAS for Eastovka getting a top 3, hopefully they finally have the momentum to get a large amount of hits in the near future!

A TOP 10 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 84 YEARS!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Wonder if there's a record for largest string of qualifiers in a row between top 10's... Thanks to everyone who supported IRAIDA, thank God I kept this after discovering it in Masquerade!

thank God I kept this after discovering it in Masquerade!

Kah-Lo robbed!

well I didn't see that Stevie Nicks win coming either, congrats Jupiter!

amazed at the Eastovka 3rd too, never thought it'd get that far. trance lives

a great rest of that top five also being songs I voted for plus Zanmatony getting a well deserved second top 10 hit after being around the bottom end of the scoreboard all of this year so far, and Cumulonimbia/Fljotavik having also got point(s) off me.

shame Aeroche are held out the top 10 by a tiebreak though, they were incredibly close to getting my +18 too.

pleased to see Danæviia end up outside the bottom 10 even if only due to deductions though I must admit I was hoping for a little bit more before the votes started (not) coming in. was also hoping either Aelandor or Rolloland could go top 10 as both outstanding rock entries here but oh well.

and finally cheers to Lotunia on the hosting effort!
