Surprised by the negative comments as on one listen I thought it was the best thing I'd heard from her in ages  The hook is really good!

It feels a LOT longer than it is, which is never a good sign. It’s not as bad as I had expected, but I don’t think I’d miss never hearing it again. It’s got all the DNA of great 90s house, but it feels overly diluted and boring.

The thing that I love the most - is how much of an event it is when she comes back.. and I feel that really started with the ‘Beyoncé’ album.

She’s one of the main headlines on sky news .. and everywhere else.. not all ya faves could ever!

This is a sound I wanted from her- this is an album I wanted from her

I saw somewhere else said it already get played on Radio 1 and apparently it's a little bit difference from the released version.

Had a couple of listens now... it's better and growing but I still don't like it all that much. I just think I'm over that sample, the horrendous hype-men and the chorus is repetitive in an annoying way rather than being catchy.

Like I said, it's somewhat growing so I'll stick with it and see where I am with it in a few days. I actually quite like the verses.

How many times can we sample Show Me Love, I’m so tired

Love the idea of Beyonce clocking in for her 9-5 shift

It's just 'quite good' for me, certainly interesting to see her release something so commercial after so long again. At least it's not a full sample of Show Me Love, just a couple of notes, although surely thousands of dance songs in the 90s used the same keyboard preset, she could have said it was a sample of any one of those.

It's a little plodding though, I was waiting for a killer switch up halfway through that never comes, as it's otherwise just a two note bassline.

It just sounds so lazy, if she'd done this 5-6 years ago it probably would've sounded exciting but so many have done this recently and better.

Whilst it's not great, I agree she definitely has done a lot worse in the past.

Actually growing on me a lot already, a lot of fun! Think there will be better on the album but it is so joyous.
I'm liking it! It definitely feels more "throwaway" than Beyoncé's music has been in ages but this is far more likely to be something I return to. The sample is a surprisingly obvious choice for her but I think she makes it work and the Big Freedia sample isn't offputting at all to me.

I love her vocals and flow on this, but do wish she had gone a little further with it. I'm sure I'll be bopping massively by the end of the day.

I do think Big Freedia actually elevates the production — it would have been a little too faceless without the sample.

It is definitely not as bad as some of these comments make it out to be... but its super mediocre. theres not much to it, its super basic. i can see it being a top 10 hit, but i don't think it'll be a #1 contender at all. hopefully theres some better releases from the album to come

i think the comments come from an expentance from Beyonce... when in reality this is a sub-bar track with a generic sample that has been done to death. It's mad to think this is the same person who did 'Flawless', 'Deja Vu', 'Get Me Bodied'.

This feels lazy and radio-pandering and Beyonce hasn't pandered to the radios since 'I Am Sasha Fierce'.

It's by no means a bad song...
